The people spoke loud and clear. The economy and inflation was hurting too many people. Illegal immigration was out of control. The threat on American energy as well as the threat on taxing unrealized gains was enough to bury her. She was a radical and very much unpopular. Even among democrats. And the tampon Tim pick… just wow! No matter the story the media tried to push, the American people were seeing the truth daily.The stock market is often detached from the economy. It’s still the best bet in town. Today’s market bump is enthusiasm at deregulation and removing the handcuffs from industry. Just look at the Russell go. We will probably see a big sell off though as people take profits. I’m glad I will be retiring with Trump in office though.

In 2020 Trump received 74.2 million votes, Biden allegedly received 81.3 million.
In 2024 Trump currently has 72.1 million and Harris currently has 67.3 million.
What happened to those 14 million "voters" for the Democrats? And better yet, where are the shortfalls? Swing states perhaps?

My understanding is that there remains a ton of votes out there that have yet to be counted. Possibly more than 15 million. I would guard against drawing any conclusions until all of the votes are in and truly counted, which could take some time.BUFFALOMOOSE said:Query me this:

The count baffles me. Where are the 15 million votes? Did they simply refrain? Also, in todays digital age, why aren’t the votes counted immediately upon request? Does this only happen in certain regions? Even absentee votes are electronic in Louisiana. Are there 15 million mail ins not counted?JohnInCarolina said:

In many of these areas, mail-in ballots have to be verified and fed into machines by hand, one at a time. It takes forever.ColbyLang said:

I believe johns right about the full votes Not in. Micro changes in demographics, whites.blacks.latinos. younger voters etc. mostly lower income not doing well the last four years and feeling like they were left out might be the ones that shifted the vote. But who knows, there's four years to figure it out. The shift could just be that Harris just isn't likeablefukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
