    Vote early and vote often!

Hopefully It won’t be another « WTF America » moment!
It’ll be a WTF America moment regardless
    Nah.  We’ve got this.
I seem to recall you were similarly confident back in 2016.
Ha!  My operating assumption for some time has been that Trump is going to win this one.  I was just expressing the view that if it happens to go the other way, it wouldn't be a WTF moment.
    Ahh, gotcha.

I am kind of curious about those of you who decided to vote today, as opposed to voting early.  I'm not sure I understand the decision to wait in long lines, unless maybe your boss gives you time off for it.

I mean... we're not talking Franklin brisket here...
I vote 2 blocks from my house at the local public middle school. Poll opens at 6:00am CST. I was in the door at 6:03, out at 6:06…

Sounds like you’re used to… rising early.

Thought you were heading towards “finishing quickly”.

(Sorry; Not Friday, but feels like it should be one.)

Nothing wrong with rising early or finishing quickly. I’m in this for myself lol

Thanks to all who answered my question.  I didn’t realize just how different early voting worked in other states.

Here it’s definitely the path of least resistance.  Many more places to vote, and the lines are a lot shorter.

OT, but you carry that Ridge in the front pocket, right Ozzie.

I love the design, but I place my leather wallet in the back pocket and don’t see that approach working with this.

Ridge in left pocket, key and knife in right pocket.  Back pocket free for random stuff I absentmindedly put in them.  Mostly pens and screwdrivers, I remember those when I hop in the car and almost puncture the upholstery.

If Harris loses, I hope the dems do some major soul searching.  Trump absolutely tee’d up the election for dems, almost like he was a plant for them.

In the end game all I want is divided government to keep the pendulum of government clsoe to dead center.  Although there have been a few recent years where each party has owned them all and did not move the needle much.

Americans are always quick to look for a scapegoat with something like this, because the alternative - a long hard look in the mirror - is too much to bear.
