the system is a pendulum..it swings both ways..that is what makes it work..regardless of your stance, every 4 years it has the opportunity to recede/reset/progress..

i am not making a personal dig. doing that is tacky and shallow— but very electable as we are seeing.

stock market and economy have been doing fine for the folks that are in it.

I’m mostly excited for the incoming Secretary of Health and Human Services, RFK Jr.  Measles and polio have been held down for too long by the elite, they were long overdue for a comeback.

Hats off to the Trump campaign and his supporters/voters.  The Democrats got flat out smoked.
And to the democrats  for trump
Last I checked, Trump won the Republican primary in 2024.

I understand the desire to blame Democrats for him though.  Why not?  Blaming all the people who voted for him doesn’t tell the greatest story about the country, after all.

i wasnt blaming the democrats that voted for trump, im thanking them and accepting them into the fold....

What is the current status of the roof over that bedroom?  I will work for smoked meat.

Without making any direct political comment, I do think that stock price is driven by politics, not underlying fiscal fundamentals, so it is probably a good time to short it.  With that said, I try to only invest in things that I understand so I don't think I'll be doing that.

Maybe this will help you. A company with a 7.46B market cap has less than $900k in quarterly revenue. That market cap is clearly not based on financials.

    Exactly.  Thank you.

There were a lot of opportunities to short GameStop for a similar reason but because I didn't understand the phenomenon driving the price I never pulled the trigger.

I think some of the market is reacting to who was elected, but the broader reaction is likely due to quick resolution of the election with a definitive and accepted result. I would guess a fair bit of money has been sitting on the sidelines waiting to see if we were going into another protracted and messy post election period with contested outcome, potential violence, etc., as in 2020.
    Love you bro!

Just a heads up, Christmas Eve I will repost the ever popular song “Twas the night before Trumpmas” that I posted 8 years ago. I’m sure there are some new folks who missed it. I will also post the long awaited “Glory Glory Trumpelujah” as well. Please keep your eye out and save it if you like because I know the Buffalo will kill it quick.
Also as Big Don lays his mighty Goliath like hand on the Holy Bible to take his oath I will post “Imagine what Trump could do to you” simultaneously. It’s an ode to Obingo, Biden, Kamala and the wicked witch herself, Hillary. Again be watching because I’m certain that the Buffalo will strike hard and fast.
As it gets closer I will post a reminder to be on the look out for these magnificent songs.

Rather than playing your “greatest hits”, perhaps you could consider more shaving posts.
