Just added up my yearly insurance costs, just under $30k.  All for a product I hope to never need, but must carry. (Except my umbrella, I carry that because I want to protect my assets).
    2009 I had a 750k bill , self employed…. It’s worth it

Insurance brokers, here anyway, make a decent living helping you to save money. Before Obama Care, my broker advised me to change insurance companies every few years. She said that if I didn't, they'd assume I couldn't, and would continue raising premiums. Probably a lot different now, though. although she's still in the business and still doing well.
The medical broker was a different person than the regular insurance agent.

My regular insurance broker does a really good job.  He saved is a small bundle between my various insurance products.  Unfortunately, he doesn't do health insurance.  I have talked to 4 health insurance brokers.  None have done anything more than click the buttons on the health market place for me.  Two never got back to me.

@Yno congratulations on the successful completion of a milestone lap of the sun.  Enjoy the celebration.

I'm actually NOT a MMM fan at all; but that particular song was killer, I first learned it playing in a bluegrass band one summer during college, and again with another bluegrass band in ND around, 1993?

  • @JohnInCarolina the Bojangles here in Columbus is on par with the best in NC. The only problem I have is it’s 45 minutes away.

    An artful juxtaposition.

The funny part to me is the dude holding the sign next to them, which reads "The wages of sin is death".  Quite the juxtaposition there!

That guy looks much more committed to his cause.  The "escort" person has a product that sells itself so he doesn't really need to try.
