The SUV essentially saved Porsche and Lamborghini. I can see why Corvette wants to get on that gravy train. I'll take a possible 6.2 liter V8 over an electric plug in Mustang SUV any day of the week. They're absolutely going to crush the exotic SUV market if they can get it to the market starting at 60K. Dealer mark ups will be insane but Chevrolet is going to hit the honey hole with a Corvette SUV. They can't even keep up with production with the C8 and now they are going to offer an SUV version of it? Big win for Corvette in my opinion. I could be wrong.

The sport SUV market is crazy.  I agree they should get in on it, but not with the Corvette name.  I have the same thought about the Ford Mustang SUV.  Make a sport SUV but please name it unique.

No need to worry about the Corvette name. It's in good hands. Just like the Blazers name.

  • I hope it turns out to be a little bit better looking than that.

  • Looks like a poor man’s Urus. Pretty neat.

A family member had the Jeep Trackhawk and it was both practical and loads of fun (0-60 in 3.4!).

Now if only power wagons would make a comeback….

I'm torn.  I appreciate the improved performance, but rear engine rear wheel drive is 99% of the fun and feel.

Btw, I said that like a true key board warrior with confidence and gusto.  I've never driven any 911 😂

A neighbour has one in a really beautiful blue. Actually tried to snap it yesterday but was spooked at capture time.

Thanks for sharing. A beautiful design that has evolved so little over the years. A testament to the fact that they got it right.

I had a co-worker in the mid-70's that had a 914 he got as a college graduation gift. Neat little car. Liked how low to the road you sat.
He would really get rather upset whenever we asked him how he liked his Volkswagen.

@Ozzie_Isaac The AWD post was meant as a joke...I totally missed the mark.  I do have some run time with an older 911.

Oh no, joke landed.  I laughed the first time.  I came back later and commented on the non-purity of the AWD.  That was me thinking about the joke too much 🤣🤣🤣

That is awesome!  Impala with flat bed was a pretty rare option for 2002.  Order code: BDZRL420.  According to my book less than 3 were ever ordered.
