Well that was fun, now just a light coat of poly, some legs, and I’m good.

That's going to be a nice table top.

In all seriousness why would one get butt hurt about a boat sitting in someone else’s’ yard. How does it affect you?

I got a call from Ms. Bucky around 1 this afternoon.  She was involved in a fender bender.  She's fine but starting to get a little sore.  I called for the tow and we went to get some take-out and somehow ended up in the middle of a Trump parade going through town.  There were people lining the streets some flipping us off and others cheering....This has been one strange Halloween so far.

Glad Cindy is OK, Brent, and that the accident wasn't worse.

Good God fearing Christian folks right there. You should consider it an honor to be amongst them my friend.

Serious question. Is it frowned on in HOA’s to clean and hang rectum?
A few years back someone in Ogden butchered a whole cow in his driveway; you'd think he was shooting children or something.  Police called, mayor was summoned, trauma, and last I checked over 900 Letters to the Editor.
I can't even remember if he was in an HOA or not.

Well most people around here will skin deer in the back yard having killed and gutted it in the woods.
Seriously do people think meat grows on trees and the styrofoam and plastic is its meatpod?

Haha, so I guess it’s bad when your own wife calls you a Karen right? Maybe I need to
    take a drink or 3
Ha! My wife has pulled me off so many ledges. I would likely not be here without her kicking my ass every once in a while. Turns out I have some terrible ideas and I have been known to act on them.

    Happy Halloween 🐷
Someone bought a whole hog and all I got is this hideous body part  =) Serious question, how do I cook this?

These are great in the egg, give it an overnight brine ( I use salt and brown sugar ....wrap the snout and ears in foil....apple or cherry is good indirect 275

Of just those jowels off and make  Guanciale....cook the test down for Scrapple or head cheese

Here is one I did on the egg

Great cook right there. Wet brine is too challenging logistically for me. I was going to dry brine with salt only, do you think I can add brown sugar too (not on the skin)? Thanks for sharing.

You could , they wet just draws the funk ..if you have an ice chest do it there or kitchen sink ....if it's a fresh head just skip it and season and cook

I would’ve thought artificial trees would be looked down on in that kind of fancy neighborhood.  You don’t want to piss off the neighbors.

    oh wait.  never mind.
    Love you bro!

  • Cleanup from Zeta. Finally had to breakout the chain saw. For what’’s  left, the bigger tree hit the smaller breaking it about 10 feet up. The bigger tree is slanted on the strip of the smaller like 4 with the slanted line extending above. Just like the trigger to a deadfall. Tomorrow I will have to remove smaller limb to reduce the bending moment then start cutting off 4 feet at a time. All for a tree that fell from the hospice yard next door.

Bought my very first bottle of Four Roses Small Batch.  Then promptly smashed it on my kitchen floor.  It smelled wonderful.
