😂 you called the HOA, the cops, and the city because your hillbilly neighbor had a bass boat parked in his yard?
In fairness I called the cops (non emergency line) to find out what was the appropriate thing to do. You nailed it with the statement above. My neighborhood isn’t some white trash sh*thole. If you can afford to live in this neighborhood you can afford to park that boat in a slip at the lake. My gripe is that he appears to be parking it there to store it not just work on it. I wouldn’t have a problem if he was working on it for a day or so to winterize it and then planned to move it.

I wouldn’t want to run the HOA in any capacity. I just want people to abide by the same rules as everyone else that they agreed to when they bought a house here and a few people in this neighborhood think they don’t have to. I paid a lot of money to live where I do and I don’t want to see someone’s bass boat or camper or whatever the heck else sitting in their yard like it’s some mobile home park. I will also say I’ve lived in a non HOA and that’s why I moved into one was to avoid stuff like this or someone wanting to paint their house turquoise. Again rant over.

Gotta love it when you live in a neighborhood with an HOA and yet someone still manages to park their bass boat in their front yard for going on 4 days now.

What exactly am I paying HOA dues for again??? SMH   oh well its been reported to the city, police, and HOA. Enjoy your tickets jackarse...

    A whole 4 days? That’s insane!  :|

My dad would bring our boat home a few days before a trip to do some maintenance etc, same after we would get home. Maybe if it were there for weeks with tall grass growing around it but holy TEXASKAREN2020 for getting so worked up after 4 days.
  • Sitting at the local auto joint getting the oil changed and new brakes on my wife’s vehicle. Needed new rotors after 175k.  Glad I brought my work laptop so the 3 hours isn’t wasted.

My brother had a neighbor throwing out a solid maple work table, wife wanted a new craft table, win/win. Now I’m stripping off the old shellac and will get it down to bare wood and throw some legs on the thing. Better than spending a few hundred on a new one and gives me a project for the day.

We had two pit bulls attack my Rhodesian Ridgeback a few years ago.  It took three adults to get everyone separated.   After it happened, I reached out to HOA to report it.   They take great pride in sending letters to people who leave their garbage cans out too long but said they couldn’t do anything.

Are you sure you don't want to use the emergency line in this sitch?  I mean, what happens if you get to ... SIX days?

Serious question. Is it frowned on in HOA’s to clean and hang rectum?

@thetrim - that thing cooked quite quickly.  Great result and bark.  How did the rub combo work out for you?
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Not to dogpile onto this, but that is not a police matter. It is a civil issue that you need to handle through the civil court process. Nothing criminal in breaking HOA bylaws.

Oh no! I thought you were one of the only ones with power!

Did they have to break it to fix it?

That’s sucks.  Could be worse, any of your neighbors park a boat in their yard?

Boats and cars down here are the same thing except one has wheels.  Reminds me about the guy that parked a car in Venice and everyone bitched.

Sorry to hear it. I got lucky. The power was back on at my house in Hurley Thursday around 2:00pm. At my home in Saucier it came on Thursday night. Late yesterday evening the power at my place in D’Iberville came back on.

@SGH clearly holds the record for the most posts that contain Trump and either rectum or anus.  Or both.
    Love you bro!
