Got called into work this am. We have a bunch of trees down at work. No power at our house but looks like we are in good shape other than shingles all in the yard and missing a shutter. Haven’t really been able to assess our house other than a quick look.

Awesome! My daughter turned 3 on Tuesday, she got a 36” Rapunzel doll that creeps me out when I come out into the family room at 4:30am.

I got intrigued with the latest Crutchfield email, featuring this new Yamaha receiver:
    https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1569203-REG/yamaha_a_s2200sl_integrated_amplifier.html/overview
They added the two channel's wattage, and its really no different from my stereo CA-810, purchased in 1979.  And EXACTLY ten times the cost!!

In 2010 I replaced my 30-yr-old stereo system with a newer Yamaha 5.1 receiver, with which I'm still very happy with (and, about 90 wpc, again!)

I just learned Canadians, specifically Canadians from Ontario, are responsible for pineapple on hamburgers.

I think the pinapple on pizza (never seen the option on burgers) came from Hamilton, Ontario.
Hamilton is the armpit of Ontario and pinapple is disgusting!

I learn something new every day.  And to think I used to like pineapple, but if it comes from a disgusting arm-pit...never again!

Agree.  All I need to know is that it comes from the land of Bieber!

If it comes from @nolaegghead (even the armpit of nola), there's a great likelihood its good.

According to the Googs, pineapple on pizza actually has its origins in Chatham, which is about two hours West of Hamilton by car.

I’m located in Canada’s national capital - Ottawa, which is in Ontario. We just moved houses and are now near a new host of restaurants. Discovered a great pizza place that offers some unique combinations. Upon first consulting the menu, I turn to my wife and suggest we get the pizza featuring honey garlic sauce - specifically, chicken, hot peppers, jalapeños, and pineapple, all drizzled with honey garlic on top. My wife, who loves chicken pizza, scoffs at the idea on account of the honey garlic, which she sees as a dealbreaker. We call the pizza place to place and order and she asks for recommendations. He then suggests the pizza I had been advocating for. We now never order anything else and my wife refers to it as her pizza.

Ditto. Local pizza joint takes it one step further and adds diced jalapeños. Delicious
