    Thanks guys! It was out of nowhere. Whole facility of 400 plus people getting the ax. Was hoping to leave next year anyway but on my own timeline. Problem now is it’s in the middle of a fudging pandemic and 30million other people are looking too.

    Just caught up on this page after missing 600+ posts.  Took a break from the phone and laptop for last month or so.  Between the lay off and having Covid, going stir crazy. So the wife and I have decided F it. We are flying to Mexico for 5 nights next Friday. Thank god she has earned points through her travel agency.

    So sorry to read / hear of this. There were serious reductions on Tuesday at my place of employment. I managed to dodge the bullet again.....While not of interest to you (my situation), my point is this is happening with frequency and with many companies. Stay positive....remember its how you handle the difficult times in your life that define you. Wish you (and others impacted) by these steps as you adjust and chart your future.
