Foil is such a sh itty background for a photo.  Need to work on my staging skills, or not.

busy day yesterday, things like watch some World Cup, stuff myself with pizza and try a special release dipa at a local pizza/brewhouse.  Lazy dinner with some wings and drumsticks that went from freezer to sv to grill.  Wings were Albukirky red and drumsticks had a gochujang/honey/bunch of other stuff glaze.

I love over-cooked, charred and caramelized drumsticks.

At the airport awaiting the return of the spousal unit and our granddaughter from NY.  Pondering which mayo I need to purchase when I go shopping in between FIFA WC games today.

    Looking good, @JohnInCarolina

I decided my basil was getting a bit overgrown so decided to make some basil oil for my beet salad.

And away we go. Golden beets and a few vidalia onion pieces for variety. And the goat cheese and basil oil for topping.
