@SonVolt careful...  it gets addictive, and I am really just getting started. Only been doing it 2 years and learn a ton each time I do one.  I always have something in rotation....

That's so awesome. What resources are you using to learn the process?

Great cook.  For those wanting to now move to Nola's neighborhood, I suggest zillow.  There are some great deals.  They'll be selling fast, if he keeps this up.

Realizing I'm running out of time to learn all the things on my list before I kick it.  I suppose that's why they say you'd better enjoy the journey.

Holy cow Mark!  You’ve been doing this for two years and we haven’t seen any of this at Butt Blast?!??

I guess we are going to have to keep inviting you back.  ;)

Steamboat Lake. It’s a feeder lake into Leech. I picked up the rice in Cass Lake.

@Sea2Ski looks beautiful.   mine came out a tad salty.  my problem was with the low humidity in the house.  I had that problem and SWMBO whining about the weird meats hanging in the kitchen, esp the pancetta which would occasionally drip fat.
This is what you see in Spain to catch the fat drips.

Planning to cook this tomorrow, I have been wanting to try it since @bgebrent originally posted! I have been in the combine for days (rained this afternoon) so it was hard to decide between a low and slow tomorrow or this. The halibut was at the top of the pile in the freezer.
I am going smoke some salmon tomorrow for dip and make the potato halibut dish.
Thank you all for new cooking ideas I am not creative however I follow instructions well!
