    I surley understand Disney in the rear view.  I swear the last time we went that frigging mouse had one arm around my kids and another on my wallett.  But I would not trade it for silver or gold.

    @northGAcock nope. Michelada and it's a Key lime wedge. 
    Edit: thought you meant the drink in reference to mango :tongue: No that's an Acorn Squash. 
    Make mine a little different. Today I used Yuengling Lager. Modelo lager or any Pilsner works well. I like some good heat and prefer a heavy hand of Cholula original.

    I am glad it worked out well for you.  

    For me, I never did the whole two week training.  Only about a day or two. I always too k the dog to the line with the collar on a beep only (leashed), and then pulled at the beep. 

    Did the same for beep and vibration. 

    After that I let the dog figure the static correction on their own and that usually fixes their urge to go back close.

    @yukonron and @lousubcap - thank you both!  Here is a photo as it goes down for an afternoon nap.  There was some jiggle in the point for sure. 

    Now ive got the egg opened up, wine fueled user error last night, while the brisket was arranged the long way, with the point to the back, the drip pan was not.  I’ll spend the afternoon burning the platesetter clean.

    @ACN- a minor detail in the grand scheme of a brisket cook.  Great eats await.  
    At least you didn't get a grease fire during the cook.  
    I was cooking a SRF Black brisket several months ago, and after 6-7 hours of things being nice and stable, the temperature decided to take-off.  Fortunately I was around (no controller here) and had to get things under control.  Opened the LBGE and had an impressive grease fed fire going.  Pulled everything out-tossed in a bunch of ice cubes (got the fire knocked down) and continued the cook.  Turns out that when lining the drip pan with foil I created a channel for rendered fat to run off, over the platesetter and on to the lump.  Once the fire reached that area, away it went.  Never a dull minute (that was a first for me).

    Put these in a fan oven at about 100F, just taken them out after about 54 hours. Cool overnight and then in a kilner jar.
