    New Orleans????
    I wish....Chicago
Chicago isn't so bad, the food will be good.
Possibly the best in the country.
    Not possibly, it is.
Someone hasn't been to Charleston, NYC, or NOLA. Not that I'm denigrating Chicago, I just wouldn't speak in absolutes here. Unless you're one of those weirdos  that calls tomato pie "pizza".  ;);)
Do some reading by the experts.
    Wha?!
Nola is grossly overrated and romanticized. Man do they have awesome cold cut Sammy’s with olive salad! Yum!  City is dirty and service is subpar as a whole. There are exceptions obviously.

SF is great. Love Boston, but not on par with Chicago food wise. NY is NY of course.
    You are a d i c k.
    Pretty accurate assessment...from Pete.

    So,
    1. CHI, NY
    2. NY, CHI
    3. SF

    Who's after that?

The foodie ranking discussion may be better served with its own thread.  FWIW on a Friday eve.

I don't think NY is what it once was. Le Bernardin is unquestionably the best meal I've ever had, but I've had too many other 'meh' meals at highly regarded spots to put it too high. I'd probably do something like:

    LA
    SF
    Chi
    Charleston
    Philly
    NoLA
    NY
    DC
    Portland

But as has been mentioned elsewhere - it is entirely subjective. I rate LA really high because of the breadth of Asian options, and the sheer numbers mean that they don't need to Americanize their offerings, and I don't really care that they lack an 11 Madison Park/Atelier Crenn style marathon dinner.

Pulled into an iron huntin' spot that was on the way to my La Quercia Speck and Italian extruded pasta spot for a quick look.

Found another $15 nonstick gem, a Wags Sidney #8.

The seasoning on it was dull, but excellent, sides and bottom are roached, a few fine knife marks on the inner bottom.  Seasoned a couple of times with grapeseed, and it's back to baseline.

Found it last night, used it today for breakfast.
The best intact seasoning I have found on a skillet, a true nonstick mirror finish.

If your feeling guilty just bring it over to me and I’ll cook with it for a while and muck it up for you so you need tit reseason it. Nice one right there!

Baseball for special needs folk.  Kid to adult. Volunteers "buddy" with a player to help field, round bases etc... Depending on the person's needs.

So much fun to watch them have fun. Pure joy.

Thank you! My friend looks forward every week during the summer to play baseball and run the bases. The last time I went to watch him they has a PA System there. They announced my friend as Joe Mauer, Todd Frazier, and Kurt Suzuki that night when he was walking up to bat. (Per his request) It was quite funny. It means a lot to those kids to have an opportunity to go out and play. Thanks!

@theyolksonyou - My sincerest thanks for volunteering.  You don't know (assumption here) how lucky you have life until you get out of your comfort zone and work and help those less blessed than you and your family.
Great player choices right there-enjoy  and again, thank you for truly making a difference.

The guy on the mic is more DJ/MC than PA. He's awesome. Knows all the players and something about each.

Just got home from customer appreciation day at my brothers snap on guy and saw this. It appears to be a vision. If you bought a toolbox over like $5000 or something you got it for free. Or you could buy it for like $900.

If you like baseball, even a little bit, and can find a league around you, I highly recommend it. This was our first time volunteering and we'll be back.

My youngest and I have been out to watch before.
