This will be our busiest weekend with the kids at home. My wife knows I will be in NOLA and has accepted I won't be around to help taxi the kids around. I'll be there.

Let's be honest here, all Hap did was throw the scrapple on the griddle. That ain't his arm holding the spatula.

@blind99, they do land. But at the time you book you have to declare how many bags you will be checking and how many you will carry on. A checked bag is $30, a bag you put in an overhead bin is $35.  A bag under the seat is free. At least that's how it worked when I booked a flight for my daughter a few months ago.

Need an excuse to go to New Orleans. What does the average participant bring/do? Any money needed for the reservation of the space?

Drink, eat, cook, all the above or just hang out. I always bring something anus/ball related to break the ice. Nothing pleases a crowd like anus and balls.

Any money needed for the reservation of the space?

Contributions are not mandatory, but they are certainly most appreciated.

     Hotels close?

Either a B&B or VRBO on the point. The ferry is a couple bucks(cash only) to and from the qtr, but Algiers is really cool hood.

@foghorn That's all good. I hear the only needed supplies for brisket camp are a clean pair of undies and even those are optional.

Yep. We all get together in a little room.

Im guessing you know which ACS I'm referring to. You should join if you haven't already. I'll see some of your specialty colleagues there.

You guys are killing me. I have at least 8 hours of meetings that day. But my son will probably drop by. He knows Nola, 20stone and Centex and a few others and he's good help around meat and fire.
