Start with the first claim, that the committee destroyed all the information they collected. This is demonstrably false, and it’s not hard to verify that.

Of course not everything you find on the internet is the ground truth. Nobody is suggesting otherwise. That's why you have to check multiple sources, apply critical thinking skills (does this make sense, is it the simplest explanation, does it jive with other things I can check, etc.) and use your brain.
