What if he’s not wrong? Why would Fauci, the J6 committee , et al need pardons? Some sort of symbolic cleansing??

    Presidents can issue preemptive pardons.

    Ford did for Nixon.

On this forum, it's going to come down to what you choose to believe, does this indicate guilt or was it used to protect people from harassment and persecution.
    Love you bro!

If anyone can explain to me why Pete Hegseth is the best, most qualified person to lead our military, I’m all ears and willing to listen.

Start with the first claim, that the committee destroyed all the information they collected. This is demonstrably false, and it’s not hard to verify that.

It’s kind of astonishing to me that some of you still have the instinct to take anything Trump says at face value, despite everything we’ve seen from him over the years.

It seems like the only qualification is that Trump appointees received a paycheck from Fox News.

I didn’t say that I believe anything. I merely offered the opinion of what if he ain’t wrong.

But it's clear you haven't even taken a second to look for yourself to check.  Because if you had, you wouldn't have offered that opinion.  Like I wrote above, these things are pretty easily verified.

These are summarized info from Microsoft's AI Copilot, so distilled from multiple sources, not from a single source and not definitive. Do your own research.

@TechsasJim you might want to take your own advice from last summer, whenever you get up this morning (hope the hangover's not too bad and you can still play golf)

hey let’s see if we can please keep the personal attack posts off of the forum.  no one wins here wins those rounds and ultimately the forum loses.

assail public figures all day long, hopefully in a way that is funny or enlightening.

I'm sorry, but the fact Techsas posted that back in August is kind of funny.  I think people here can handle some gentle ribbing.

I feel like this is a really opportune time to remind everyone that Billy Bob Thornton’s hat (#1 of 2) has its own earring.

  • i totally agree that there are environments in the world where personally directed exchanges can chisel away at our various quirks and challenge us to be better. if that’s the case here so be it. doesn’t feel that way to me so i made the ask.

That is a great observation she's making.  Seems like a business opportunity for you, Larry!

Because mainstream media is 100% factual and those in power never lie or withhold information?

The start of this are claims made on Fox News.  That is mainstream media, whether you like it or not, so there's quite a bit of irony in your question.

Of course not everything you find on the internet is the ground truth.  Nobody is suggesting otherwise.  That's why you have to check multiple sources, apply critical thinking skills (does this make sense, is it the simplest explanation, does it jive with other things I can check, etc.) and use your brain.

No hangover here man, have the flu, haven’t had a drink in over a week.

    Glad to see you’re still a ****.

Hey man, you're the one who said you'd decided to no longer participate in political discussions on a simple barbecue forum, not me.  If you can't take the heat, stay out of the kitchen.

John, go cast aspersions somewhere else.   What if I called you drunk and hungover when you were not.   How would you like that?

Gentle ribbing?   Nothing gentle man, you are a giant ****

Someone poked fun at my dry January last night, suggesting maybe it had been tough on me.  I laughed.

Thin-skinned, sick, and angry is no way to go through life my man.
