Regardless of political, religious or other sensitive leanings doors open tonight at 5 PM EST.  I appreciate the forum reminder about the third rail.

Usually the libs of this forum stroke each other in the OT area, for some reason when a republican is in office they can’t control themselves and it spills onto the main page.
You apparently have not met @WildmanWilson. Or, his other fans.

ok i totally agree that when people post pro maga here it gets heavy response with a dismissive edge. maybe compounded by the fact that historical republican and independent voters here are not fans of 45/47.  it can get uncivil for sure.

what i thought was going on was putting cap on blast for keeping politics out of the zoom meetups.  that has always been the situation so i responded.

Same. The zoom sessions have been a politics free-zone, and @lousubcap tends bar with an iron fist to keep it that way!

Most other threads (and zooms) we avoid politics, this thread has no moderation.

Don't tell your problems to people.  80% of people don't care and 20% are glad you have them.

My two cents, keyboard warring vs. group face-to-face zoom, apples and oranges.

I'd be shocked if WW isn't just a troll account from someone on the forum.

What I remember about snow in the south is bread and milk wiped from shelves 24 hrs in advance. As a baker did you preemptively increase production? Was this a boon for you?

Still true. Also true for hurricanes/big storms. Folks down here must have eaten  a lot of sammiches for 2 days.

Is @Ozzie_Isaac the "lib" in this example?  Because I have news for you...

95% of my business is institutional. I sell to franchises, colleges, restaurants via various distribution networks. People don’t realize that grocery stores own zero inventory. It’s on consignment. Bread, being extremely perishable, is basically a net net zero for a bakery like me. Put 10 loaves in on Monday, pickup 8 on Thursday. Congrats. They want credit on 8 and pay you for 2.
Also, I make no white sliced sandwich bread

And in January 2029 it will get changed again.  Four years of the narcissistic, small hands, little ego F'tard.  CHEETO makes Nixon look like a saint.

I guess it's been hard to get past a doormat as a president the last 4 years and see actual progress being made .... adjustments are tough for some...

  • what seems weird to me is framing cap as someone who personally shuts others down. that’s not accurate. if you want him to post less vents then respectfully ask for that.

the current line of attack sounds like a request for diversity representation, equality treatment and equitable respect and feeling included.

there are a lot of conservatives that do not like trump nor do they like their representation cowering to trump.

some of the paradigm busting trump is up to could be healthy change but it needs to be watched. same way liberals need to be watched as they just earned a big fat L.

If pardoning the January six rioters, the people who broke into government buildings, defecated on the floors of Congress, and looked to take hostages is progress… where are we?

What exactly is this “actual progress” in your eyes.  What action has he taken in the last four days you’re most proud of as an American?
