@ColbyLang I would hate to clear a brick walkway, that would suck. Especially if you had a square shovel for the garden, not a snow shovel.
There ain’t a snow shovel to be had here. Square nosed flat shovel. PS, the snow sticks to the metal shovel head
spray the shovel with PAM or workalike. Spray silicone (like Jig-a-loo) works as well.

    Southerners

When snow is light and fluffy, a leaf blower works for snow removal.
There’s no such thing and light and fluffy snow in the South. It’s always the wet mess.
    I figured as much.

  • the snow atlanta got last week was perfect snowball consistency.  today is kinda wispy and a lot less. today it’s either snow thats driveable or quick melt and quick freeze thin ice spots which is that “surprise slide” situation. only saw heavy salt on major interior roads.

hope everyone along i-10 got the fun snow!

@ColbyLang Low water pressure could be a sign of water starting to ice up? I dunno. Perhaps leave a few taps dripping tonight just in case? A friend once told me to coat snow shovels with used engine oil to minimise snow sticking, never tried it.

Our first round of snow Saturday was a little heavy.  Sunday night's was super dry and I just used a leaf blower. I love that.
    Love you bro!

I've had good experiences using FluidFilm on my metal snow shovels.  It has multiple other uses, worth having on hand.  Many hardware and auto-parts stores stock it.

I've always been tempted to do that to my satellite dish, so the snow slid off, but didn't know if it would interfere with RF reception.  I now use 'net channels so will never know.

I saw this today somewhere, likely Facebook.  If you lose heat in the house, a tent set up with a few blankets over it will be a very warm sleeping place for you and yours overnight.

A lot of pier beam homes around me. Hell, half of my house is on piers. Exposed plumbing plus sub 30’ temps is never good. I’m sure neighbors are dripping taps. I know I am
