@lkapigian - Happy Birthday! Those steaks look great.

Happy birthday, Larry! Killer steak. So this weekend in a nutshell for me: HVAC went to poop, so had to replace the units (someone else did that, and it was expensive), then I replaced the dishwasher that went to poop, then repaired the pullout trash can cabinet thingy that has been bothering me for years, cleaned, ordered pizza, played with kids, repaired a broken drawer, cleaned some more, then rented a large ladder from Home Depot today so I could clean the gutters. Brought it home, cussed a bit too much as I sliced my hands and arms up on said gutters, then had this one very awkward sloped spot in the yard that was also the highest spot. I was pretty exhausted already, but ready to be done. I put a stone on the low spot, propped one leg of the ladder on top of the stone, repented to Jesus for all my sins, told the kids I loved them, then climbed to the top and cleaned the remaining dirt and debris out. Climbed down safely, hosed the ladder down, returned it and picked up chicken tenders and microwaveable veggies for dinner. But now we have heat, spotless dishes, a working trash can cabinet, working kitchen drawers, and clean gutters. Weekend “fun” now over, so time to go to work tomorrow to fund the hvac bill. 😂

Procrastinating. It’s nominally a work holiday but I’ve got way too much work to do.

It is breathtaking sir. Worse than it sounds. If you profit 250k on an investment and sell it your government takes 166,665 loonies leaving you $83,335 of your 250,000 that you earned, 83k is all you get.South of Columbus, Ohio.

Yep, the maths looked wrong.
I don't know what the brackets and rates are, but it's a progressive rate system like ours, except we tax the whole cap gain total...Love you bro! -

Got it, so it would be closer to 55K. It is indeed not as bad as it sounds that is good.

Pretty sweet same day bread. I like to cut the cheddar up into small cubes like M&M size, also I prefer the 5 quart DO, this time I used a 6 and the bread kind of flattened out. Also I use pickled Jalapeno.
