@alaskanassasin I got worried seeing ^^^ because I pruned a small tree aggressively (for the first time) late summer last year and did not apply any sealer. Below is what AI says, too late for me now anyway even if it's a good thing to to. Keeping my fingers and toes crossed  :)

@Canugghead I’ve never used prune sealer while pruning you should be fine there.  I don’t know if it helps or not but when a deer takes half the bark off a young tree 2’ at a time I put that stuff on there. Triage…. No pun intended

In an attempt to finish out my smoked chicken leftovers, I was researching BBQ chicken pizza recipes. They are super simple so I was curious what are some of the bad reviews as most were 5 stars.

    "Can be high in calories"

"then still got the pleasure (sarcasm) of watching my kids try to pick through the resulting pizza to try to remove the remaining onions"

" I agree on the ingredients to go in it as I've made something similar. The amount of ingredients stated for this made it taste like a pile of hot garbage"

"This was good, but didn't blow our minds."

I dunno, who takes time to write this stuff.

I mix bbq sauce with pizza sauce 50/50, bbq is too sweet on its own on a pizza.  Other way to go is use a white sauce (not a lot) on the pizza but toss the chicken in bbq sauce before putting it on

That is a good idea @Legume, I have a few I’m going to play with and I am thinking that more sauce is less especially in this case

We’re right in the muck and bullets part of the season.  Fatigue, optimism, reinforcements, tactical switches and thinly spread resources on wide fronts - some will prosper and some will fade. While Liverpool remain clear at the top, many teams are rotating through the also-ran spaces,  down south the relegation candidates are only embellishing their credentials for championship football next year.

    Saturday

Forest v Brighton : a shuddering 5-0 reverse last week for Forest could be the turning point, but this match is an optimal test of their minerals. The filthy Seagulls are hit and miss, and a win either way will be the most indicative outcome, 2-1 with a side order of 1-1

Bournemouth v Liverpool : no easy jaunt to the South Coast for the Reds as the Cherries have hit their straps. Demolition of Forest last week and the away win at Toon before that is big news. A home win busts open the title race. 1-0

Everton v Leicester : The Foxes win at Spurs can be put down to Spurs being Spurs - so an unreliable sample.  The Toffees are finding a way, big win at the Filthies last week but have lost two key players form their attack.  0-0.

Ipswich v Southampton : well, this could be the absolute definition of a pyrrhic victory - assuming it’s not a draw.  Form says home win, so 1-0.

Newcastle v Fulham : The Cottagers are highly erratic while Toon are finding a rhythm, 2-0 and they stay in the Champions League hunt.

Wolves v Villa : this may be a local derby but the hosts are in abject form while Villa, not quite the team of last season, are undefeated in their last 5 and have qualified in the Champions League.  0-2

    Sunday

Brentford v Spurs : The Bees are lumpy could be a home win, or not - but more than likely So 2-2 because it’s Spurs.

Man Utd v Palace : similar seasons from opposite directions, with Palace starting low and climbing while Utd have plummeted.  Tough test for both 1-1

Arsenal v Man City : this ought to be a good game with Citeh’s league form coming back while the Gunners are consistently almost good enough to be top, but not quite. There’s a strong risk that they will nullify each other, though. 1-1

    Monday

Chelsea v West Ham, return of the Potter home with his new charges from the east side of London.  Should be a rounding home win, 2-0.

    Go bet the farm!

    Great stuff as always.

With that said, I'm going to go with Liverpool win and Man City do just enough to beat Arsenal and effectively end the title race as we know it.  Also, Arsenal are good enough to avoid giving up a goal to the Usual Suspects (capitalized because I am watching that movie as I type this), so they'll lose 1-0 to a goal off a corner from a central defender.  The irony of Arsenal effectively bowing out of the title race because of a set piece will haunt them until next season.

Also, as much as I hate to admit it, Man U aren't good enough to avoid losing 4 consecutive times.

@SamIAm2. Thoughts on the new Yokozuna?
I had tried to send you a message earlier in the tournament picking him as the eventual winner but for some reason my comment didn't get saved, oh well. The last day playoff was great for the fans. Was pretty sure Hōshōryū was going to win the title on the last day but it sure came down to the wire. He had to win 3 bouts in a row to do that on the final day. Good stuff.

Hōshōryū is a fierce competitor. Hopefully he can keep it up and consistently hit that 12 win mark.  It was a disappointing tournament for mine and my wife’s favorites. It was good to see Midorifuji bounce back from such a terrible start though.

It's finally occurred to me that the biggest flaw with wallets, over the decades, is NOT the wallet's fault.
It's the fault of pants designers.
My decades of leather wallets all eventually fit my callipygian form, BUT this often created havoc with ID cards, credit cards, key cards, etc, which delaminated/quit working.  I did buy a wallet last year that was RFID-proof, but it's inflexible and uncomfortable (and the exterior money-clip feature sucked (yeah I still carry cash)).
WHY were two of the four main pockets pants sewn directly onto the curviest part of the male anatomy on the back, AND the part that bends the most, AND the part that supports most/all of the upper body weight when in a sitting position?!?!?  This makes no f***ing sense at all.
Front pockets aren't much better; I think most people carry their phones there? (I don't know) which makes it difficult to answer your phone if you're sitting.
Yeah, cargo pants, they gots lots of pockets but they're not perfect and I understand the Cool Kids laugh at you if you wear them (I live in Utah so have no real idea).

What we really need are pants with one, or two (arranged vertically), pockets on the sides of the legs.  Most importantly they should be angled at 45º, upwards and towards the front; that way wallets, and phones, would be retrievable in both standing and sitting positions, AND said pocket contents would never accidentally spill out, unless you were in a really weird body position (rescuing kittens from a well, bad-form skydiving, being eaten by a tiger, etc).

    I'm done whining now.   ;)

I mostly wear cargo pants. Like my grandfather at the same age I usually keep my wallet in my front pocket. That came in handy for him once. He was chainsawing through a leaning tree. The chainsaw dropped through and would have cut through his femoral artery but it hit the wallet. He was complaining about how many hundred dollars it cut through before it stopped.

I don't think anyone saw Forest being 7 better than Brighton.
In typical fashion, we Palace fans perceive this as a mere blemish and more likely the cause of an unbeaten run to the end of the season for them.  Whereas anything short of a clear, decisive win is categoric proof we're doomed.

Elsewhere, big win for Wolves, and the three promoted teams now berthed in the relegation spots - which may change not at all.

    I feel you.

For me, it’s a slim (decades old) leather wallet in my back right pocket, bills in a money clip (Swiss Army knife one is my favourite) in my front left pocket and change in the front right.

When you compare the current pant pocket arrangement to the offerings for females, we don’t have it that bad. 🙂
