That picture looks like it was taken at Tom Sawyer's Island  in Disneyland. That's a compliment not a criticism.

thats the garage with two workshops, been thinking that someday i move over the garage and rent the house during the warmer months. maybe hip the back roof and glass the whole upstairs in looking upstream. theres no houses up the river for a good mile and its recently been turned into conservation land.

I was thinking the same thing!  Looks like a postcard on a spinning rack at the local
    tourist trap!

The 15 month Sheepadoodle chewed a hole in my mattress right on the spot that I usually sleep on. Both dogs are now evicted from the room when I am not there. His vet appointment is next week, I ought to have him neutered.
You give me hope for my OES. Mine is killin me.

We caught and pet 4 of the 5 barn kittens today while Wally watched. It’s funny their different personalities, two boys want to fight to the death, a girl and boy are more timid, submissive, and there is one I’ve never caught who is absolutely terrified of the whole ordeal.

Conclusion to the barn cat saga.
Swmbo brought water and food out to the granary everyday for Wally and her kittens. One afternoon Wally and all but 2 of the kittens were gone, no sign of massive murder in the granary, just gone.  So we would go out in the evenings, and try to pet the hellions, apparently wally took the nicer kittens to a new home and left two boys, one that was a banger, but terrified and would submit, and another who never would chill out, he would bite, scratch my gloves, hiss, growl and evacuate bowels until you left him alone.
After a week of that we had pretty much given up on the jerk, and were losing interest with the other one who was not really coming around.   I can only guess that Wally knew what was going on so she brought the sweet girl back.  Now 3 kittens, a few days later Wally took the two scrappers.   We scooped up the little girl and agreed she would be a barn cat.
The next day swmbo said her friend had a cat recently pass away after 16 years... and they have a couple of kiddos, one a young daughter...
Alas, one of Wallys pride made it to a good home, they picked her up yesterday and already sent us videos of the kitten playing with toys and happy.
I don't know what Wallys master plan was but she seemed to be rotating them out until we found one we liked. I haven't seen her or any more kittens for a few weeks but hope to again some day.

The keeper is the forward most kitten, I’m not sure why they are all hiding behind her!

Glad one of them found a good home!  Maybe Wally is straightening up the other ones and will bring you back a barn cat.

I’d like to have a good barn cat. My cats are old and lazy, they do catch mice and birds but mostly around the house.

Maybe get some high priced Maine coons,  sell a few litters. Those are some big barn cars

We had Manx cats growing up, that would be cool, they are great hunters.
My dad and stepmom have a Maine coon, I’m not sure what to think of it.  Pretty sure i can kick its ass, but I’m pretty sure it thinks it can kick mine, we are at a draw but it he leans into my bluff.

Yep I have about 4 squatters that moved in. The Klan of Karens caught them, had them fixed, then dropped them right back off. They didn't like my idea that they should be relocated to Horn Island(5 miles offshore). The Karens feed them and they shelter in my detached garage

These evening Norah’s best furry friend left us.   This photo was taken a few days ago.  The photo sums up the 13yrs they spent together.

Sorry for your families loss.  I hope Norah is doing okay, losing a best friend is such a hard thing.

The dude got groomed today.    Thankfully didn’t have to have the shave of shame.

Is wearing a man bun worse than the shave of shame? I know, I know it’s your wife’s idea but we are barely into June 🥵

Save the cone. Otto can scoop up leaves in the Fall.

It looks like he stuck his foot in the wrong place.

There is an Elizabethan style collar, like a puffy blue doughnut that’s more comfortable to wear. It does cost extra though .

Needed to have a nail pulled.  He hurt it somehow, likely playing in our back yard.  All things considered it could be worse.  He does not like that cone though, lol.
