Salmon on BGE with little alder wood for smoke - I put salmon on large cast iron, 3 or so mins skin down, flip for flesh side down for some color, flip back and pull just before IT hits 140 (just as first site of white albumin) - kids love it too . . Blistered Green beans my fav recipe (try it) posted below - tarragon tartar sauce is an old fav that @Griffin posted many moons ago

Broke in the black stone with bacon, chicken thighs, and smashed potatoes. Also cranked out some home made ice cream, the kids hit the paddle when I pulled it out like a couple lions on a water buffalo.

Costco lamb chops and foil pouch asparagus. Normally the chops thickness is a little more consistent and this was quite a mixed bag. After also having to tie up the pair of boneless pork butts prepping for tonight’s overnight— I am appreciative of a good butcher when you can get one. But we hit all curveballs deep into left so the cheap seats can have a souvenir. Let’s be real we got it easy. Thinking of all the great folks in southern Louisiana and Mississippi ahead of this hurricane. Playlist was Sturgill Simpson radio on Spotify. Drinks were Narragansett shandy at the grill and Louis Latour
pinot at the table. -
Great finish on that chop. Lamb for the win.
Several decades ago (old here-at that time the drinking age was 18 yo) I was fortunate enough to take (for credit) a college course in Wines, Spirits and Beers. It did include a drinking lab every Thursday afternoon. Louis Latour was a highly regarded pour.
I have since walked away from wines but the knowledge I got from that course has served me well over time. Some important things you never let go.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

Two pack was 11.5 lbs and there is a weight differential of at least a lb. Temp in smaller is 10-15 degrees higher so it goes in the cooler sooner.

Picked up two packets yesterday. Used about 4 pounds of the flat to start some Flemish beef stew. Just browned it.

Im no @caliking but I do what I can. Fried up some red onions then added some Curry powder and chicken base. Let that bloom a few minutes. Then added can coconut milk, leftover chicken and broccoli. Add to some healthy noodles. Then topped with a fried egg and some chili garlic paste.I wanted something different and this hit the spot.2-XLs ,MM,blackstone,Ooni koda 16,R&V works 8.5 gallon fryer,express smoker and 40" smoking cajun

UK BBQ week ended with the public holiday yesterday and witnessed my sole contribution;
You'll see by the lack of juice that I actually managed to let it rest properly, like real proper BBQ-ers do.Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -

@CPFC1905 - That outcome is a thing of beauty. Your contribution was the vanguard of the week I'm sure. Great cook.
Next time please aim to get the ££ shot at the close so we watch the banquet develop.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
Bit of a clean out the freezer steak night. Both were one off purchases, marked down at the grocery store because they were use or freeze by the date I was shopping. Left is a dry-aged, bone in strip with s&p, right is prime ribeye with Montreal steak seasoning.
