I'm going to own up to continuing with the plant based diet, even if that's heresy on a BBQ forum! I started to learn to cook for the boys' veggie / vegan GFs and it's an interesting challenge going completely plant based and still producing tasty food. 3 weeks so far, lost 8 lbs without any effort too. Tonight I did tofu with home made jerk seasoning, vegan haloumi, peppers, tomato and artichoke hearts on the MMX. It made a nice sandwich.

@Canugghead - always impressive when you go on a cooking bender
I have this image of you, standing back, cracking your knuckles, and saying “alright, we’re gonna cook now.”#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
One ribeye covered in dizzy pig ghost and the other salt/pepper for leftovers / salads this week. Chicken and feta patty from Publix en route to a brioche bun for the wife. It was great. Ghost steak was also great and sneaky “grab a Kleenex like you had a little wasabi” hot. Grilling soundtrack was Robert Earl Keen radio and dinner table soundtrack was “songs from frozen” for the little’un. Beer can was for steaming the cast iron chimney cap.Kidding about the beer can as usual.

@Mattman3969 - did you intentionally hold the phone camera off the diamond plate alignment just to mess with us? Regardless, the square plate delivered! Great cook.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Does Jersey Mike's count? I'm pretty confident it was a Doctor moonlighting as a chef who made my killer sandwich.

Just chef’d this bad-boy. A perfect medium cook. Just look at the cross-cut. Notice the plating.
