I toured the "rectangular pizza pocket" factory to look at some of their utility equipment. I'd still eat them after the tour!

We have those too. On these ones the dough is a little more "squishy/mushy"
Less dangerous to people across from you when you bite into them as there is no seam on the opposite corner to blow out as well

Yes.  Forgot I bought some white asparagus, found in fridge.  Amazing shelf life, it was still crunchy.  Did not microwave that part.

*Just googled.  It is very expensive and grown underground.

Made some ribs and mac and cheese, accompanied by coleslaw for my daughter’s birthday. Cake was a fantastically moist “pink lady” strawberry cake (https://smittenkitchen.com/2008/10/pink-lady-cake/), featuring a beautifully balanced cream cheese frosting, and made and dropped off by my s-i-l - a most excellent baker.

This was last night.... Beer battered some asparagus and other vegetables yesterday...and fried some tenders.   Fied asparagus is the bomb.  Ate with tzatziki sauce.

Thanks for that. A truly excellent recipe - and I’m not generally huge on sweets. This cake was a nice way to highlight her day during a time when celebrations are not quite as noteworthy.
