Ain't worth its own thread. Grand-canugghead#2 turned two earlier this month.
Decided these premade pies were redundant...
Smoked Bush's doctored with bacon, onion, spices...
Really moist but could have cooked a tad longer for better crust...

Short notice change of plan yesterday and SWMBO decreed that she wanted my meat (again).
24oz of rump, some herb marinated veg in my new (her old) Le Creuset skillet and herbed roast spuds.
Simple cook around 500F with only SPG with 10 minute rest. Veg half cooked on the Egg and then left to finish in skillet.
Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -

Been at it since 2017 and taken the 'learning opportunities' on the chin. I have mainly borrowed ideas and followed advice from the guys on here.
Also helps that SWMBO is now a fully paid up steak enthusiast, loves short ribs (neither of which she would have eaten a couple of years ago) and just went and got me some long skewers to run the Egg like a tandoor.Other girls may try to take me away

Damned I remember when my kids were young, getting them those snakes. I also remember when I was young we went on vacation somewhere near Sebago. We rented a cottage from someone named Margarita Skeet. For the whole weekend my brother's were chanting "Margarita skeet has feet that wreak"
I never smelled her feet, but for somebody to put in song, that's powerful

@smbishop's Hatch chile thread got my mouth watering, so a couple days ago I cooked up a batch of green chile again, made Huevos Rancheros the last two mornings.
As usual, it's not really very photogenic, but dayam its delicious!

Fun afternoon to try my new toy - a salvaged gasser retrofitted to run with charcoal.
Due to late planting, tomatoes just started to ripen . Noticed the Grillgrates @caliking?
When the fire started losing its intensity I went almost-caveman...
Mayo, lemon juice and chili powder...
Corn salsa (not enough tomatoes), good thing we held back one of the chilies, it's hawt...
Attempt at Indian "chokha" with Japanese eggplants, lol...
