Not sure if you heard, lot of talks about how bad gas cooking indoors is.GrateEggspectations said:Air fried cod fillets and Costco salad for the kids.

Call me scared, feeling uneasy even with a 900cfm exhaust blower. Our vintage air fryer may see more duties now, also pulled out an old double burner portable induction cooktop. Will be using gas for oven only and see how it goes. Not ready to ditch the gas stove yet.

It's for tomorrow night. Soaking in @YukonRon 's tri-tip marinade right now. I'm looking forward to it.

PiZia night. Brie and caramelized onion jam on the first. Cooked 8 in all got like 14 pictures. Ooni Karu 12 does not disappoint.

Yes, thanks. Had seen quite a few stories over the last several months. I’m sure that’ll be an adjustment in the kitchen for you. More reason to make use of the Egg.Canugghead said:

Nice! Is that flattop regular electric or induction? We still have the regular flattop replaced by the gas stove when we renovated the kitchen but the colour doesn't fit in now.GrateEggspectations said:Dutch baby brunch. Used to make these on the regular, but hadn’t for about two years.

@Canugghead
It’s a regular electric. We bought an older home and the appliances that came with it were all pretty dated. They’ll do the job until we get around to a reno. Was really wanting to put gas in when we replace the stove, but maybe it’s time to rethink. Sounds like you’re making some major adjustments. -
@GrateEggspectations indeed, even before we heard the gas controversies of late swmbo has been wearing mask when stir frying at high heat with high wok hei, and 900 cfm blower venting outside at full blast

Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

BS thighs jerk style. Used a marinade from Suckle Busters. Was a winner. Would be even better with a longer soak on yardbird with skin still on it.
