I avoid hospitals but that is some serious motivation (clearly a few orders of magnitude not enough for me right there) but great looking groceries @MasterC .  Welcome home.

@lousubcap That’s a beauty. No way you can get away without the $$shot  ;)

Edit: 12.7 lbs for the price of 7.5, better lucky than good!

@Canugghead - If on the extremely rare occasion I don't get a $$ shot (when delivering the protein elsewhere) then I won't post the cook.
Every $$ shot tells the story... B)

chicken breasts with one of two rubs:
    1. Colonel De's Ole Bourbon Trail
    2. Spicewalla Buxton Chicken rub

Big fan of both- 350 degrees with apple wood chunks for 25 minutes to interior temp of 65%- good stuff

Tried something new. Deviled egg macaroni salad. It’s chilling in the fridge while I chef some slider burgers.

It turned out pretty good. The wife really liked it so that’s a win. We’ll have leftovers tomorrow.

Hit the easy/lazy button after sanding down drywall mud. My version of beanie weenies. Smoked Conecuh regular sausage slices in canned beans.
    Doctored up just a little.

Thanks for flagging, my friend. I often neglect my inbox on this forum. Will have a look.

Nothing wrong with a lazy-ish meal after all of the energy you’ve been expending on your renos. Bet you have your eyes glued to the finish line.
  • Just some very crispy wings while enjoying some dedicated daddy-daughter time.
