Nevermind the water pump...tell me more about that bicycle. Looks like the rear wheel got extended out? Those side pieces are for when you want to haul more stuff? What are those things in the frame? (3 of them)

Couple of pairs of new sunglasses from Goodr. $25-35 a pair. Free shipping after $50. Polarized lenses…..gotta be better than spending almost 10x that on Costa, Oakley, etc
-
Yep, I just checked mine and while it's still pretty salty it's almost half what my low sodium Kikkoman has per same serving size. Good to knowkl8ton said: -

Goodr are solid; they don’t move around either. Our sneaker store got us hooked on them and Tifosi sunglasses; at those price points we have pairs on each car, at home, and nobody stresses if they get lost or broken.ColbyLang said:Couple of pairs of new sunglasses from Goodr. $25-35 a pair. Just picked up an Ego electric mower. With a name like that, I’m slightly worried that any lawn success might go to my head. That being said, I’ve got to take action with the grass if I’m going to catch up to @TEXASBGE2018
(i was going to buy the Id mower, but I was worried that the loin cloth and chest thumping might impregnate passers-by.) -
No way I could use an electric rotary trying to achieve what im after. Having said that. If my lawn was smaller and I didn't mind higher cut heights I would 100% move to an electric mower. But ya ain't gonna get this result with a rotary mower.GrateEggspectations said:Just picked up an Ego electric mower. I’d love to say I was just trolling you, but I didn’t know it took a particular mower to get results like that.TEXASBGE2018 said:

I think I mentioned this before, but we gave up all hope this year and simply hired a service. They’ve got quite a figurative hill to climb. -
I will offer this- public golf courses and country clubs hire professionals to achieve what @TEXASBGE2018 is seeking. Hopefully success as the green fees on a home lawn have got to be less per stroke??

I have a good friend who sells the equipment to pro-courses. When I lived were there was grass it was a fun past time to try and achieve the perfect diamond pattern on your lawn. I had a Simplicity Walk-Behind with rollers. Blades spun 3x your standard residential mower. It put down an amazing cut. Here are some pics I happen to have on my phone, I preferred a taller cut. Circa 2015.
Here is a pic of the mower, except I thought mine was 34".

I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.
-
@GrateEggspectations In order to get the cut @TEXASBGE2018 is after you have to use a reel type mower. Not a traditional rotary blade mower. Kinda like the ones we grew up using that did not have a motor.

I put this together from a frame with a cargo kit, made custom wood parts, huge hydraulic brakes, etc 10 years ago or so. Last year I added a 750 mid drive electric system. It will hit 30mph which is faster than you want to go and carry an entire wet bar. (Back in the day when I indulged) Things in the frame are battery charger tools storage.JohnfromKentucky said:nolaegghead said:Biked to Harbor Freight to take advantage of a 20% off deal for ITC members on Bauer stuff. There was some discussion about battery jumper packs some time ago, but I can't find it. Anyone remember it?

Thats alright. I have no Kioti dealer or Massey in my area. An equivalent Kubota or Deere is a fair bit more, and by the looks of the specs and hydraulics the Bobcat seems to be heavier/stronger in most categories. Ive been looking for quite sometime and thats just what ive come up with. They all seem like they will last and no one company is leaps and bounds better than another. With the amount of hours/year I would put on, any brand will likely be fine, so like you said a lot comes down to the dealer. Unfortunately like vehicles used units are hard to find and if you do find one they are almost the same price as new.alaskanassasin said:
Peaked my curiosity. Looks like bobcat tractors are made by kioti, you might get the kioti cheaper. All the small tractors are made overseas. It comes down to how close and how much do you like your dealer. If I were in the small tractor market I would look at a Kubota, Massey or Deere. I know you weren’t asking for advice but I couldn’t help myself.poster said:Haven't pulled the pin yet, but i'm damn close

Yanmar, Bobcat, Kubota, or Deere only around here. For the price of the Bobcat I was surprised at the spec's it has compared to the others. Time will tell though on reliability, performance, etc. -
@caliking I just bought this one based off of reviews. I’ve only used it once but it boosted my diesel tractor with a completely dead battery with ease. Took less than 2-3 minutes from start to finish. I like it so far.

I'll check it out. The one I bought at Costco wasn't able to jump caliqueen's car yesterday. That's the second one. They seem to do well for a year, and then meh.shtgunal3 said:@caliking I just bought this one based off of reviews. But, they're pretty low-powered vs. the ones discussed in that earlier thread, so I'm hoping to have netter results with a better unit.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -

An Asus 27" 4K monitor for my new Mac Studio computer.
I ordered the Studio and the Apple Studio Display the day after they were announced; some folks who ordered before I did are being told their ASD won't be delivered until August or later, so no telling when I may get mine.
I decided to buy a cheapie Asus now so I can at least set up my new system (replacing a 9-yr-old iMac) and when the ASD (or something better) becomes available, I'll do a C/B analysis at that time (or wait for my next farm rent check, whatever).
I kinda miss the BGE Accessory money-hole, so much simpler...

The replacements never last as long as the original.
