On a separate note they were going to build 10 bojangles in Columbus like 20 minutes before the pandemic and I haven’t heard sheet since. So close, love me some bo time
Bojangles has not been a popular place in my city of Birmingham. I believe the pandemic forced all of them to close.

Tools come out of the farm account, zero oversight, literally none. I’m thinking pizza oven, strong argument we can both enjoy it..
Pizza oven?  Buy local pizza place!
Ohio is where good pizza goes to die. If it’s not chopped topping on raw dough cut into squares they aren’t interested. That said the farm account could buy a months lease at the gas station pizza parlor.
Yeah buddy!  Thin crust, undercooked square cut pizza. Midwest classic.

Which is fine I don’t get it but whatever… the problem is when you give a midwesterner a good slice of pie they’re like… meh.

Same with real Italian food.  Cheap fast Italian they love.  Real, they don't understand.

Largely depends. We have Raising Cane’s, Popeyes, and Krispy Krunchy fried chicken that all originated in Louisiana. Zaxby’s didn’t make it here, nor did a Bojangles

I have found a place that I really like. They have locations scattered across the country. The chicken is really good.

I used to live by their downtown location in Memphis. The smells that would come from that place were like heaven. Their catfish night was excellent too.

Btw my bottle of Maggi is all in German. Does it need to be refrigerated after opening?
No need to refrigerate.  I had a small bottle of this, forget which version, and thought it tasted pretty much like liquid aminos.  It's a nice change from soy.
Liquid Aminos is soy based....you can look at it as concentrated soy sauce without all the salt.

I knew it was soy based but didn't know about the salt. I'll have to check label because I'm supposed to be reducing my salt intake.

A few years ago my wife had a diet that excluded any soy products. I thought liquid aminos would work, but I read the label and saw that was a no go. We then discovered coconut aminos from Trader Joe's. I need to load up on that again, come to think about it.

@alaskanassasin - Your mention of Bojangles brought to mind "Po' Folks, a restaurant chain Burt Reynolds invested in. There was one in Titusville, Fl that we used to frequent. Long gone as is "The Bandit".

The one an hour north in Cullman closed pre-pandemic.

Biked to Harbor Freight to take advantage of a 20% off deal for ITC members on Bauer stuff.  This dual power water pump looked useful.

Thanks, it’s a Kia K5.  Had to wait a few days for the truck to get in, but it drives really nicely and I do think it look much better than most other sedans.

Nope but I am pretty sure I’ve seen them live at the creek. Styx too.
