From last night, Duroc BB's with spicy Dizzy Dust. Ended up fall-off the bone so should have pulled them sooner, still came out tasty.

Used the wok again for a good cause. Stir fry. Didn't get many pictures because it went so fast. Around 550 on the wok this time, but I overloaded it. Still came out tasty.

Malcolm Reed posted a chicken taco recipe the other day and tried it tonight. Chicken thighs marinated in lime juice, onion, cilantro, etc. with homemade pico de gallo, and a lime cilantro sauce. Made from scratch brownie for desert. It was excellent. Probably doesn't count because it was grilled on the primo xl because I was too lazy to get one of my green eggs out, but wanted to post anyway.
Thanks to all who are supporting the cause!!
Sorry for the bad pictures, I was hungry...

There has got to bonus points to fermenting this in a closet ....linda never knewlkapigian said:Sai Krok Isan ...fermented Thai Sausage

@lkapigian. Outrageous. How long do those need to ferment?
-
Knowing it would take something special to compete here, I started with quality materials - great hunk of beef, great wine to go with dinner, and an amazing bourbon to get me there.

Generous coating of salt and pepper and a lighter sprinkle of garlic and onion powder. Started lower and slower at felt level followed by heavy searing on all sides on the lowered spider.

Served with plump late season local corn and salad and a rich cabernet.
Oh, yeah - I didn't screw it up!Maryland, 1 LBGE -
