Blantons, bung, brisket, - sausage in a closet. What’s not to love about this thread?Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

Just a reminder that voting ends today at noon. You have time to go back and show some of the late entries some love today.
I think we have a great number of submissions. We did some real good here folks!"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Taking some liberties with what "counts" as a cook, I think there are between 43 and 47 entries here. For the donors -let's call it 45. I'll be rounding up to 50 in terms of the donation I make, but I'll leave that to individual donors to decide how they want to roll.
There appears to be a clear front-runner at the moment, with over 20 likes. Then there are several with 17 or so. This one could come down to the wire."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

By the way, regardless of how much individuals donors chip in, it seems clear we'll pass $5k total. And that's what many of us were shooting for. Nice work folks!"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

I'll admit that when I first saw this photo I didn't take them to sausages.

This was so great! I think it's an awesome format for fundraising on the site, thanks for setting everything up @JohnInCarolina .
Also, thanks for all the kind words everyone, feels really good. The apple pies have been a goal on the egg for a long time, I used Rockwood so they really didn't come out with any noticeable charcoal flavor except maybe in the edge of the crust, which i liked. That stuff is the best.
Have to say, @lkapigian 's sausages and both of @SciAggie 's cooks looked amazing, makes me want to grab a wok set up.
I'll definitely keep posting and can't wait to keep seeing all of your posts. I'll jump in on a Zoom one of these days.
