Just be glad there is no zoom event early the next morning.

That would  show folks hungover as heck, picking up empty plates, bottles and cans, surveying the damage to the camp sight and working on a story to tell the park administrators why the tree next to the fire pit caught on fire 40 feet up.

Oh yeah and empty bourbon slushie bags all over the ground, waking those passed out, while checking their pulse and breathing.

Then realizing, oh shi+ I gotta start cooking in a couple hours.

    Good times.

I thought it appropriate to highlight, for self-proclaimed Butt Blasters and all manner of miscreants, that today, April 18th, apparently marks March 14th’s slightly more deviant sibling - national “doing it the Greek way” day.

Edit: Forgot to tag @SGH. I feel like he’ll be celebrating the hole weak.

We had a lot of fun last night.  It was good to see a lot of old faces and meet some new people.  And Nola didn't flash us so that feels like a win.

    Where all y'all at?

Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...

It's been a little sparse today but a few folks have popped in and out.  I expect tonight will be more active.

Here's the Zoom link for the meeting tonight:

    https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87969987040

The password is the same as for the other meetings.  I've set it up to start at 7pm and basically run until the morning.  I probably won't be on myself until later tonight but everyone else should feel free to jump on whenever.  Hope to see some of you again tonight.

I will try my best to join you all tonight.

  • Somehow I trashed the living room during that zoom session.  Kind of like if Beaker and Jar-jar were having wild makeup sex.  But that didn't happen, right?
That was surreal. Totally forgot about that until just now. I guess the vodka was working
