I'm not going to be able to make April 21. I have already committed to two things that weekend! A BBQ Comp in Cornelia, GA and a college reunion in West Palm Beach. Hoping the 2nd one will change weekends. Because I'm already paid for the Cornelia Comp. I have a friend who is organizing it.

Charlotte is 45 mins. to 2 hours away depending on traffic on I85 (construction almost all the way), PTI is a nice small airport we use when we can get a flight.  Figure a little less than a hour and better larger roads with little to no traffic.  Hope this helps.

Flights to Charlotte are cheap, so that's what we may do. 

And yes, I'm sure there's a Whole Foods in Raleigh that has exactly the produce that @20stone will want.

Totally agree, we have family that uses PTI and it's by far better than Charlotte..............

No direct  flight from Houston to PTI. Bummer since this sounded like a good option.

When I called to make my reservation, the lady on the phone (Kitty I think) had just finished talking to @YukonRon.  She is quite the character.  

She said, and I quote - "He said he's from LOO-VILL but it's spelled like LOU-ISS-VILLE.  I don't know if that boy can't talk or if he just can't spell!"  

I just told her that he was from Kentucky and she said "Well that explains EVERYTHING!"

I had a similar experience, but when I called, she just got off the phone with Robin @northGAcock , and oh lord the stories she had.  Only my buddy Robin.

Just got off the phone with Kitty after reserving Cabin #1. Not sure which one of you is Adam but you definitely left an impression. 

We we will be arriving Thursday evening so that we are available all day Friday for shopping, prep, etc. 

I take it there is a spot near Shelter 2 to park Ol' Mortimer?
