What a blast!  @JohnInCarolina, @tarheelmatt, @piney, @theyolksonyou, @DMW, @DoubleEgger, @Eggcelsior, @nolaegghead, @Thatgrimguy, @Jupiter Jim, @JethroVA, Clint and all the eggheads who helped so much, STANDING OVATION!  John, Matt and Gary did an outstanding job setting this up and bringing it off without a hitch!  All the food was off the chain and pretty well documented above.  And there was soooo much!  

It was great meeting so many forum members that came out!

And I appreciate the kind words above and loved helping out.

@tarheelmatt needs to share my "host" gift I brought him.  It's an official NCAA National Basketball Championship T-shirt.  I new he'd always want to remember the time they really blew it!  It's reeeal purdy!

The weekend was perfect! Great setting, great weather, great food and best of all GREAT people! Everything I ate was amazing. I didn't eat anything that didn't blow me away!

The group had fun without anyone getting in any trouble. Even though we poo poo'd all over there rules. No booze? Psshhh Yeti cups abound with drinks. No generator? How bout a motorhome with genny running all day? They didn't care.  The park was awesome. If it wasn't for the 12 hour drive I'd become a regular camper there.


And holy swag!! I got more rubs and sauce than I did out of the last two exchanges!! Looking forward to trying some of the goodies.

Got to hand it to @DMW. His pig was fabulous.  We just ate some leftovers.  The only bite I had is when I went over to see what's happening and @Eggcelsior gave me nice hunk of belly. Wife said it was some great stuff. 

Thanks Scott @Thatgrimguy for making the long trek and kicking out SO much damn good food. Made a rendition of your shrooms today in fact.  My comment was true brother! Haha.

@Thatgrimguy, what type of cheese did you use in this shrooms? Did you lay something in the shroom, then the sausage? 

I mixed cream cheese,  chedar, and a Mexican blend and stuffed.  Was okay,  not near as good as yours though.

The end of the cooked sausage. Sent the chicken basil tomato home with @johnmitchell all the brat went to the FIL along with some sweet Italian. Finally, the last of the sweet Italian with some quinoa, red beans, spinach and sun dried tomatoes courtesy of Mrs yolk.

I use large white mushroom caps.

Put in a scoop of soft spreadable cheese 
(Boursin, Alouette) (I used this one http://www.alouettecheese.com/products/garlic-herbs-soft-spreadable-cheese ) 

Then top with Sausage Loaf http://eggheadforum.com/discussion/1190411/the-best-appetizer-that-you-will-ever-eat

And finally cover with your favorite rub.

Well, @tarheelmatt is a man of his word in addition to being one of the awesome hosts of NCBB.  For those that know him you know he is a professional photographer (a really good one).  So above is my Tarheel brother wearing my very thoughtful gift, his new favorite t shirt!  He might not take it off.  But does that look like professional photography, good lighting and perspective?  Wondering why.  Glad you like the shirt brother
