    Spent a year having people trying to kill me  walking point with a dog . I volunteered to do it .The good thing is that  Scout Dogs were credited with saving 10,000 AMERICAN lives . The other good thing is that it was 10,000 miles from my back yard . Just curious ,how many of you people that want to bring these so called refugees  to this country have had someone trying to kill you every day for a year ? If you want to help them so bad join the peace core and go over there,but don't bring it to my neighborhood . I did my part for this country when I was 19, I don't think I need to be doing it again at 67.
    What the hell has happened to this country ,has everybody lost their mind .And I really don't give a rats ass about what all the politically correct people think about believing in AMERICA FIRST!

    @sctdg Sir, thank you so much for your service and that you volunteered is excellent as it was conscription for most people.  Where were you fighting in the middle east may I ask?

    I guess some credible threats are starting to pop up against military bases and military members with ISIS talking about be heading service members in their homes. If your car is lined with your awards you may want to take it down.

    @Davec433 one of your links
    http://abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=92224 (see bold)

    Most U.S. military bases were on a "Threat Condition Charlie" alert, which includes increased ID checks and vehicle inspection, among other protective measures of visitors to the installations. Read what military commanders said in July about base security.

    The Pentagon's general warning is the latest issued by government officials in wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. Last week, Attorney General John Ashcroft issued a warning of additional terror attacks against the United States over a 72-hour period after, sources told ABCNEWS, intelligence officials intercepted calls made by suspected terrorist groups. The calls, which emanated from Afghanistan, referred to an upcoming "big event."

    Bridges Threat Not Credible

    Before last week's warning, Ashcroft also issued a warning on Oct. 11, one month after the attacks.

    In addition, the West Coast was put on alert last week after California Gov. Gray Davis announced that law enforcement officials had "credible evidence" that four California bridges might be targets for terrorist attacks. On Tuesday, FBI officials said that threat was not credible.

    As part of the nation's state of alert since Sept. 11, President Bush's announced a new crackdown to secure the nation's borders. The administration's new Homeland Security Council will form a task force to be chaired by Ashcroft that will track potential terrorists, reviewing student visas and making sure foreigners who come to America actually carry out their stated purpose for being in the United States.

    Perhaps even a worse source than the reviled "Huffington Post".  The source for the bomb information is ISIS.  Well, I don't know about you but I'm a tad skeptical about that media source.  Posting that they claimed they did it is news insofar as "terrorists claimed they used a Schwepps can to blow up plane".  Very interesting on the surface, but credible source?  I'll let you decide.  Obviously I don't trust these fukkers, I urge you not to also.

    @sctdg Sir, if I may please ask, patriot sir, and (excuse me) if I may digress the 10,000 lives is pretty impressive, how many heroic dogs came back and what happened to them?

    I was in Vietnam 35th Scout Dog Platoon First Infantry Divison 1969 and 34th Scout Dog Platoon First Air Cav. 1970
    Not many dogs came home at all .What I heard is that they were turned over to the ARVN'S God knows what they did to them . Horrible is the only way to describe what happened to those dogs . Our dogs would get a condition that the military called IHS .Dogs body temperature would elevate which would signal the onset of the condition ,then they would hemorrhage through places like ears ,nose and even through the skin .Sad thing is we were told that it was a tick born disease but I can't recall pulling many ticks at all over there ,in Fort Benning ( where we trained) because of all the pines there were lots of ticks . Leeches were a problem but we had them on us too. Dogs Hemorrhaging condition was very much like when domestic animals in this country became inadvertently exposed to dioxin .  Area I worked in was one of heaviest defoliated areas in the country do to main infiltration routes coming out of Cambodia thus we had many dogs with IHS . This government did not want these dogs back in this country I believe because it was proof of what dioxin will do to humans ,remember life cycle of dog is much more accelerated compared to humans and that is where it will show up first .  Dogs with IHS had autopsies performed when they died and as far as I have heard even with the freedom of information act you still can't get copies of these records .
    Anything the government tells you should be taken with a big grain of salt ,we were told Defoliants were safe ,guess what ,they lied . Now they tell you these people they want to bring into this country will be safe,do you need to wait till they start killing people here to find out they lied??Could be you or someone close to you ,I'll go for the safe bet and say NO.
