You know it's a good bit of work and real time consuming, but it has been my favorite way to eat baby backs for years.

You might want to spray the floor down with some mold and mildew bathroom cleaner just to be safe.

Hot tub'd yesterday's butt, smoked the publix brisket and wings in the pit barrel for today's cookout. Brisket was good, little over done, failed the folding knife test, as it was trying to fall apart, but still pretty fatty though. Everyone loved it, but I knew it could have been better, I dunno.

Oh and a crappy update on our housing situation (for those that care) bank approved us to buy that house we fell in love with, even though we already have two. (Crazy huh?) so we toured it again yesterday. Our minds were made up to make an offer, when our realtor called, some one else put in a full price offer, and it was accepted. I told my better half that it just wasn't meant to be and that we'd fall in love with another. But I'm still pretty bummed.

I watched several episodes of the "Band of Brothers" HBO miniseries marathon today.  A great and humbling reminder of the real reason behind Memorial Day.    I've lost too many friends over the last 16 years that make today special, butt his is a very well done series about the greatest generation that faced down and beat down the biggest threat to our freedom.

Baseball fights are terrible. It's more like "hey let's go jump in a pile together". Here's some real fighting in sports. That Fabio wanna be that charged the mound wouldn't last ten seconds in a hockey ring.
