Setting up for Race Day Chili on the front porch MM (rain in forecast), smoked with cherry wood.Ingredients all batched and staged for the recipe. My favourite way to cook.(Edit: Recipe calls for 4 cloves of garlic, so of course I did the sensible thing in stage 3 and included a whole bulb in addition to a frozen cube from the freezer.)

That's a sweet lookin brisket. Don't know when reveille is in the AM but that's a hefy hunk of brisket calling for a very early start to power thru by 5:30 PM.
