It is pretty widespread, Chinese hog farms are another example. Regardless of who owns the farms, they’re all subject to the same laws and regulations in their respective states. Any violations and how they are tolerated is wholly dependent on the regulatory agencies.

Well fellows, made home and washed the azz. Kicked back in the recliner enjoying an Angels Envy with a banana moon pie and Klondike bar. I know that sounds simple.
