no one likes a kinky installer....well, maybe someone.

couple weeks ago our hvac went out.  contactor (relay) on the condenser died, happened to have a spare.  Replaced a the thermostat wire to controller, replaced Honeywell wifi controller (died) with Ecobee.   Knowing what I know now, love the Ecobee.

Love Ecobee too...a year or two ago Ecobee kept cycling furnace on and off, brilliant  customer support guy told me to check for air blockage, turned out I was negligent in cleaning air cleaner's aluminum pre filter for few years  :)  Can’t imagine what would have happened without  Ecobees intervention.

And speaking of kinky install...here's a rerun of my favourite...
Picked up a barely used Weber gasser for someone in the summer for a song, buyer told us the igniters were wonky since new. Was able to register with weber for full warranty. Weber started throwing new parts in to solve the problem…first, new igniter set, nope…next, new set of burner tubes, nope…next, new manifold assembly; as soon as I removed the front panel to access the manifold I noticed the gas supply hose was kinked 360 degrees, Bingo!

Just wrapped up at Michigan's largest RV show. Booth teardown complete. Enjoying a well deserved carona and some Indian food before I get home.

Troubleshooting a refrigerator.  Fans seem to be working, condenser is working, all airflow areas are no longer blocked.  Freezer works and fridge works when you force it.  Seems like maybe a sensor or a board issue?

I have a "Turbo Cool" button.  It is used if you have had the doors open a bunch.

You may have just answered your own question.  The fact that you have a turbo cool button probably indicates its sensors or wiring or a board somewhere.  😁 Is it a Samsung?

    A thought @Ozzie_Isaac

Once I had a side by side fridge freezer and the defrost stopped functioning. When I took it apart I found the airways and fins were frozen solid. Freezer was fine and fridge temp would keep climbing. Not enough air flow. Maybe your turbo cool is pushing enough air through but in regular mode not enough air can flow?

@kl8ton , so I am back to hoping it is the fan.  It seemed to be working, but even TurboCool stopped.  I pullee out drawers which gave me access to the fan location and after pounding it, the fan started again.  The fan is hidden behind some panels, so I haven't gotten to look at the fan directly.  I did order a new fan and it should be here Tuesday.  I might be moving some items to my drinks fridge for a day or two.

Edit:. Fan is making a loud whining sound now.

Cancelled my recent "Gourmet Salami of the Month" club membership.  Place up in Oregon (which shall remain nameless), I went for their "Deluxe" package: two artisanal air-dried salamis, one pkg artisanal sausages, a jar of artisanal pickles, and a local farmer's hand-made cheese.  $75/mo.
The package from The Man in the Brown Shorts™ was heavy, but it was mostly insulation and two large "ice paks".  The salamis were delicious, but only 3.5 oz apiece.  The sausages (brats the first month) were also delicious, but only three to a package.  Got pickled onions the first month, okay but not as good as my own, and only a 4-oz jar.  I didn't get any cheese.
Cancelled via email, just hope they don't try the same delaying tactics that SiriusFU employs; we'll see.

I’ve been talking / drooling over a sheep hunt for the past 5 years… Stone sheep raffle came up for auction (most expensive and hardest)…
I don’t have that @SGH money so figured I’d throw my hand in the raffle and see what happens…
    I’ll know April 1

already going to start working out like I’ve won! If I wait til I find out results I’m already 4 months behind on work outs for an August hunt

It’s a good thing you don’t brother. If you had my money you would be hunting with a slingshot.
On a separate note, good luck with the raffle. Hope you win 👍

Can't let that go to waste if you don't win; my house needs painting, and I'll be grilling up hotdogs on the large for supper, in case you're interested.   =)

Hahahah love it. So few ingredients and they go together so quickly. I was skeptical. But man...they're unreal. Will be making again soon.

Best thing about having greens for dinner is having leftovers for lunch.  Added eggs and sriracha.
