My brother-in-laws 2.0 version of the bbq probe holder that he 3D printed. This way each probe holder can stay locked into place as a set but removable if needed.

Weber has a similar idea. One side of the probe reel has an indent and the other is proud. They all lock together like legos so to speak. Just pop one off the chain of probes when you need one. Just completed my annual update of useful information for when my hour glass of life runs out of sand. Always review between Xmas and NYE. (Been doing it for more than 20 years).
The challenge is to get SWMBO to review the material with me-she is not a fan. As I always say, "When I'm gone it's not my problem." Pretty much a turn-key deal now. Always tweaking the celebratory party menu.
With luck I can update it again next year!

It appears that I attended a super spreader event on Christmas Day. Both of my parents and my wife have tested positive for the Rona. I might as well accept my fate that I’m next.
