  • Waiting for my supposed 4 week renovation project that is in it 6th week to be finished.  They told me they should be finished by next week, so I am thinking 3 or 4 weeks from now.
Sounds like they are pretty fast workers.  How is it looking so far?
It’s getting there. We finally got our den back today. Just have the bathroom to do.  Was going to start a thread once everything is finished.  My general contract isn’t doing as good as I would like considering he is a friend.  His sub contractor who is doing most of the work is doing amazing. Wishing I just hired him.

If whip=car then I can tell all my friends that my wife has a whip and it breaks a lot. All of a sudden I feel like if I don't scratch my bum with a shrimp fork, and they ask for proof, I'll have nothing. Please tell me how whip=car so I'll have something ... make something up if you have too ... this is my bum we're talking about.

@SGH if you are gonna be driven that foreign job, you better at least get a pair of these for riding in.

I’m not sure, but I think this may be Scottie in his modeling days before he started working the rigs.

Honda foreman is made in South Carolina. Those overalls however most likely aren’t.

Trying to play catch up mostly from working an insane amount… trying to track down some “lost” papers via usps in the mail to finish my Texas license.

been trying to finish up a decoy quick for a buddy going to Argentina.. and finish up a working urn for another friend

Getting ready to help send my gf kid to Seattle to start the commercial diver program. ..

Checking on the new additions here on the back 40. They’ll be 1 week old this Sunday.

Been window shopping for new scuba tanks. Considering swapping to steel hp 100’s or 125’s from Aluminum 80’s.. I’m an air hog and feel like I would benefit not only from the extra PSI but also the more cubic feet of air while Spearfishing.

The decoy I get, but why on earth would you post a picture of two small goats staring at a larger goats bum? The goat in front is either the goat with the most mesmerizing bum or the two small goats behind it are blind and going by smell alone. I get it, until I got the cataract fixed, I'm pretty sure I was staring at goat bums in almost all of the photos people took of me too. If I were you, the next time I go baby goat shopping. I'd find the goat with the nicest bum on your property, take a clear picture of it, and bring that with you to Goats-2-Go. It's really the only way to test their eyesight before you take them home. Your goat pictures will improve like 100%, trust me.

    Exactly what I was thinking.

With that said, I'm spending the weekend at a friend's ranch skiing on his private heated (he can top it off with a 103 degree water source) lake - while helping as a cook and boat driver as we entertain a bunch of his grandkids.

Nothing makes pancakes quite like a real griddle, and a magic sideways one is extra special….

    That's some good looking pancakes.

I ended up borrowing my Blackstone to a coworker who took 75 students backpacking in Northern Minnesota last weekend. He came back from the trip raving about it. He said he will never be without one for future trips. It sure beats a pan on a camp stove.

Haha. It was more bus camping. They would hike portions of trails on the MN/Canada border and bus back to the dedicated campsite.

You do have quite a circle of friends.  I'm sure the waterskiing will be Disney show caliber.  Too bad you have to struggle with cooking some impressive banquet.   B)

Thanks @lousubcap.  Unfortunately, there has been a change of plans.  My wife woke up with what seemed like mild allergy symptoms, but because we were going to be around a bunch of people she did a home COVID test - and it's positive.  So we're hanging in different parts of the house and not going out.

Tough news @Foghorn.  Doing the right thing instead of declaring "fake positive" and carrying on.
    Hopefully no further developments.
