If I didn't have your progress reports of the build to follow, I'd have a hard time believing this was a residential deal. Farkin' superb.
Wishing you, and yours, many many hours/years of enjoyment in that space.
If you ever head to Southern AZ, bring the family over, check it out, and relax for a while.
Thanks for the invite. Wouldn't mind taking you up on it sometime

I had to head into Charlotte yesterday so I took the title and drove the POS mobile. 2005 mazda 3 with 125k, mismatched tires and a check engine light that is mostly a loaner car, but it looks good.
I had talked to a couple of the "we'll buy your car" guys. I called wifey to come get me and my $3,700 check. I wouldn't trust it on a trip.Be careful when following the masses. Sometimes the M is silent.

Cooking some hickory smoked bourbon BBQ beans cooking in the large. A side dish for ribs tomorrow and steak during the week. Easy enough to make … https://thecooksdigest.co.uk/2018/01/05/smokey-chipotle-beans/

Went blueberry picking with Egging Neighbor and his wife at a local farm north of us. Picked these in an hour.
Removed stems, rinsed, and drying now. Will put in food saver bags and freeze most for later. Also, got a jar Mangrove honey - it is different.

@Acn - given you and your cat are on good terms, care to share the high points of your Barcelona trip?? From the posts thru the trip it looked like you really enjoyed the experience.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Thought I’d burn the old lump down and de-crud the dome. Left the daisy wheel inside a bit too long but it’s a lot cleaner.Any suggestions / options about treating it, or just leave as is?Other girls may try to take me away
But you know, it's by your side I will stay -

For me, there were really 3 truly standouts. Going to the Camp Nou was definitely an amazing atmosphere and experience. All the Gaudi is spectacular, even though we didn’t get up to Park Guell. La Pedrera was amazing and the Sagrada Familia is easily the most spectacular cathedral I’ve ever visited and the first that made me (an extremely non-religious person) feel the sense of awe and wonder that I imagine true believers get. The third was the general vibe of the city. The way people take there time, the ability to just swing in somewhere for a quick coffee/tea/wine break, the reverence paid to the pig, the great non-Gaudi architecture are all amazing.
I’m seriously behind on dealing with photos (still have a bunch from our trip to Chicago last November before I get to ones from Barcelona) so these are just from my phone and likely have been seen before, but still:

As above, oil it and give it a quick cook. Then store in the BGE after every cook.

This isn't finished yet, but that was my whole weekend and 2 hours on Friday afternoon laying out the bearers. Roofing next, but not today. I'm not used to consecutive days of manual work any more.
