This isn't finished yet, but that was my whole weekend and 2 hours on Friday afternoon laying out the bearers. Roofing next, but not today. I'm not used to consecutive days of manual work any more.

That is very nice!  Love the large windows, moulding, and the "log cabin" look to the wall corners.

It's a log cabin design, interlocking 'logs' 44 mm thick (2" planed size) with double tongue and groove. Quite neat with proper double glazing. The assembly instructions could do with some work though! Floor and roof boards are 19 mm, so a sturdy build.

Playing with fire.  Unfortunately, the wind is gusting around 20mph, and the opening is facing the wind, so it is a bit of a mess.  I think this is a cooker best left for windless days, or I need to reorient it.

Or get a pizza oven door.

@Acn - given you and your cat are on good terms, care to share the high points of your Barcelona trip??  From the posts thru the trip it looked like you really enjoyed the experience.

    +1, love that city too.
We loved the city, although SWMBO spent a semester in Seville during college, so that will always be the ‘Best of Spain’ for her.

For me, there were really 3 truly standouts.  Going to the Camp Nou was definitely an amazing atmosphere and experience.  All the Gaudi is spectacular, even though we didn’t get up to Park Guell.  La Pedrera was amazing and the Sagrada Familia is easily the most spectacular cathedral I’ve ever visited and the first that made me (an extremely non-religious person) feel the sense of awe and wonder that I imagine true believers get.  The third was the general vibe of the city.  The way people take there time, the ability to just swing in somewhere for a quick coffee/tea/wine break, the reverence paid to the pig, the great non-Gaudi architecture are all amazing.

I’m seriously behind on dealing with photos (still have a bunch from our trip to Chicago last November before I get to ones from Barcelona) so these are just from my phone and likely have been seen before, but still:

Great photo spread. We love Seville as well, the gardens are spritual and the little flamenco bars late at night... Wonderful trip, makes me want to return - Bilbao, Santander, Costa del Sol, the Pyrenees...

Or if a door (with adjustable louvers?) is not feasible (air flow/suction/etc.) maybe a portable baffle with some clamps. Better yet, that is a really nice little machine - perhaps there is an OEM solution?
The ultimate solution might be just building a motorized turntable base, then you can calibrate oven temp's with wind speed/direction and oven orientation. I am guessing this may be more intriguing that a fire pit - by the way I haven't seen one of those yet??? Skimping again? LOL.

Making Teriyaki Chicken.  Ignore the spilled cornstarch&water mixture.  Wind is blowing like crazy right now.  Blew my cup right out of my hand.

It has a door which helped, but cannot open it without stirring up all the ash.  This will definitely have a learning curve.

It was too damn cold this winter as well, but i got out a few times regardless. Storms a bit more east now. Looks like a mixed bag of rain/sleet/snow here, but still 40cm possible up at the camp. Found a nice map, but the image keeps failing to upload

Broken back window (my bad).  Ordered the replacement glass, week wait.  Meanwhile we’re about to get hit with storms so I sealed up the hole.

If you enjoy Jomboy (American) breakdown of Cricket, take a few minutes and watch this clip of a German (I think) breakdown of baseball. It might be the most accurate description of baseball anyone has told.
