Well, its a funny old weekend coming up due to the conflation of mid-week European action, re-scheduled Covided matches and the FA Cup 6th. I’ll try my best to lead you through it carefully while making trademark erratic forecasts.
Friday
PL : Wolves v Leeds, both sides discovering bit of form but the hosts will be too strong. Leeds have welcomed back some long-term absentees and who will sustain their PL stay. But 1-0 tonight.
Elsewhere, Iraq v Zambia if you fancy a wildcard in your accumulator bet. 3-7 and a big away win for the Z’s - without doubt.
Saturday
FA Cup : Middlesborough v Chelsea, couple of things - the hosts’ name is Middles Boro - don’t be saying that ‘burrow’ thing that you all like to do, and, the Blues remain ‘under special license’ due to the Russian Billionaire owner being a Russian Billionaire. Quality will out but not without a fight. 1-3
PL : Aston Villa v Arsenal, the Gunners remain in sterling form despite a two nil reverse against Liverpool mid-week. Stevie G has improved the Villa. A fun contest in store. 2-2
CL : Stoke v Millwall, the steam has left the Potters and the games are being played out in lacklustre fashion now. Millwall are just plain horrible so I hope pride kicks in and are defeated. 2-1
Sunday
FA Cup : Palace v Everton, The Eagles are in season saving form right now and all is rosey after a thrilling 0-0 against Man City. Risk is they believe their own hype. The Toffees have other priorities, like staying up. All results possible but I am going against type for a 1-0 and I’ll find my fancy hat for a trip to Wembley in the semi’s.
Southampton v Man City, meh - routine 0-2
Notes Forest v Liverpool, a game hewn of 1980’s legend. YouTube Brian Clough (RIP) if you want to know what football was like back then. Promises to be terrific fun but again, the quality will out. 1-3.
PL : Leicester v Brentford, the hosts still need the points and will fancy this to ease relegation fears, taking them to 33 points which is touching distance of safety. The Foxes are wholly unpredictable. 1-1.
Spurs v West Ham : identical points and similar form. Spurs are being Spursy in a good way at the moment while sooner or later the Hammers will run out of puff. 2-1
OK - I am off to watch the remaining two and half days of the 2nd Test so that I can join in the high octane cricket banter of @Ozzie_Isaac

Chicken tikka masala may derive from butter chicken, a popular dish in the northern Indian subcontinent. The Multicultural Handbook of Food, Nutrition and Dietetics credits its creation to Bangladeshi migrantchefs in the 1960s, after migrating to Britain from Bangladesh. At the time, these migrant chefs developed and served a number of new inauthentic "Indian" dishes, including chicken tikka masala.[7]
Historians of ethnic food, Peter and Colleen Grove, discuss multiple origin-claims of chicken tikka masala, concluding that the dish "was most certainly invented in Britain, probably by a Bangladeshi chef."[8] They suggest that "the shape of things to come may have been a recipe for Shahi Chicken Masala in Mrs Balbir Singh’s Indian Cookery published in 1961."[8]
Another explanation is that it originated in a restaurant in Glasgow, Scotland.[9][1] This version recounts how a chef, proprietor of a restaurant in Glasgow, invented chicken tikka masala by improvising a sauce made from a tin of condensed tomato soup, and spices.[10][11]
Chef Anita Jaisinghani, a correspondent in the Houston Chronicle, wrote that "the most likely story is that the modern version was created during the early ’70s by an enterprising Indian chef near London" who used Campbell's tomato soup.[12] This is disputed by author Jo Monroe, who claims that this story was deliberately invented by the founder of a London restaurant "to entertain journalists".[13]
Rahul Verma, a food critic who writes for The Hindu,[14] said he first tasted the dish in 1971 and that its origins were in Punjab, India. He said, "It's basically a Punjabi dish not more than 40–50 years old and must be an accidental discovery which has had periodical improvisations."[15][9]

@nolaegghead I disliked your tiki masala post. I know you are wanting to know why. Basically, it was really long. I like short posts, even better if it has a meme or dog photo.

Used a board from my first cut for a sign.Rewired my panel back-feed from when I was running on a generator for a month to 40A 220V welder outlet. Going to be doing some really fun welding in next few days. Helping a friend out welding/bolting together corbels from some vintage cast iron and 3"x0.5" bar stock. Got nickle rods for the cast iron to steel, but I see some bolt holes and I think I'm just going to weld in studs.

Got to be honest. Now that I think about it, while your pool is nice, I’m kind of disappointed you didn’t install a moat around your house. And then put in sharks with friggin laser beams.
Lazy river = moat. Multitasking in Solitude.
