You could put that end on the floor and trim it with 1x3 or something
I'm hanging these on the ceiling. Attached to a 2x6 into the ceiling joists. They are hollow inside.

  • Thanks @lousubcap. Hopefully I can find the time to sneak back by. Definitely the best breakfast item I can remember having…. in my life.

  • Looks nice @TEXASBGE2018. Couldn’t you just turn that side up to the ceiling and not need to sand/refinish?

Carved/divided a pork leg for future stir fries. 5-6 cents per chamber sealer bag is no brainer, not at 30-40 cents each for FS bags though.

    Good deal there @Eggdicted_Dawgfan

It’s a shame they’re still working out of the truck.  They bought that building at least 3 years ago and I think have had county/city issues moving forward with the inside reno.
They are actually moving to a brick and mortar in the near future if I am not mistaken just a little farther south in a town call Buda.  They have a food truck there already called Cash Cow selling their burgers.

Nice approach. I often do the same. Looks like we’re running in the same circles.

What bags are you using here, and do you have a link? Thanks.

Igloo Food Equipment in TO, bought in person, just searched and not listed. Their online presence is iffy given the clientele they serve.

I bought case of 1000 10"x13" 3 mil chamber sealer bags about $90+ IIRC; cut them into halves and quarters as needed so I end up with assortment of three sizes. Smaller sized bags sold in cases of 3000s, way too many and more expensive than cut my own  :)

I'm not doing it "right now" but this weekend I almost became the guy (you know who you are) who would not buy lump in the grocery store because there is better lump 5 miles away at the BBQ store.  Then I realized that HEB Central Market lump would get the job done - at a lower price - and picked it up at the grocery store.

Checking out the first aftermarket hardtop release for the Ford Bronco. Worried about price. Love the fact it can be painted to match the truck

I saw a hard top at the dealer… I think they have the manufacturing issues straightened out.

And Webasco can manufacture approximately 300 per day. All the gen 1 MIC and 90% of the gen 2 MIC tops are being warranty replaced. Factor in all of the unbuilt inventory, “we should be able to order from Ford late 2023”….directly from the mouth of customer service

I'm sure there will be aftermarket tops before then.  But that's a bummer.

Soapbox, 1st world problem time but what's the point of grocery pick up if when I get here I have to sit and wait for 30min past my scheduled pickup time. I might as well have gone inside. I do this for the convenience of working it into my schedule not because I'm lazy. Plus I'm sure when the 15 year old gets out here to give me my groceries half my list will be unfulfilled like usual and yet I'll go inside and be able to get almost everything they couldn't fill. I know I know some kid in Angola is eating a maggot infested rat right now but maybe give a guy a call to tell him it's gonna be an extra 30min so I can go do other shite. Soapbox complete......

@TEXASBGE2018, it's a 1st world problem to be sure, but it's a larger society problem.  Attention to detail and communication have gone into the trash lately.  About 50% of our recent Amazon deliveries have had to be returned for one reason or another (wrong color, broken because it was poorly boxed, etc).  I routinely see articles with typographical errors on news websites (CNN, Fox, etc - I try to read broadly).  Multiple local stores that will "call you when it arrives" - that don't.  There are numerous other examples.

Ya, just give me a call. That's all I ask. What drives me nuts though is that I've ordered something like Honey Nut Cheerios or something and it's unable to be filled and yet I walk inside and there is a display of 150 boxes sitting right there at the entrance.

The attention to detail.  HG Rickover was more than a taskmaster with that mindset.  I still live it (solves issues before they become problems) and appreciate @Foghorn highlighting it.  In his profession he is working with life/death decisions on the fly.  If that doesn't get your attention then what does?
Now, unfortunately as we move off top dead center and head down the slope the relative value of a F- up becomes less as do the consequences.  My collective quick and over-simplified summary is "Nobody gives a da-n as there is no positive or negative incentive for whichever side of the equation you are on."
    Off this soap-box.
