I made a vegan chilli and used the first of the smoked Moruga chillies I grew this year. I had no idea how hot these would be, so used 2 small ones in a pan of chilli. These are hot stuff, I'm amazed to have got such hot chillies grown here.

Reorganized and love some furniture in the basement/my office. Now enjoying a manhattan while SWMBO talks to SWMBO Sr on the phone. Will start black-eyed peas and collards in a few.

Man, you guys with basements are so lucky.

My pork butt finished. FTCing now. 11 lb bone in pork butt took just over 7 hrs to finish, with no wrap. There was a very brief stall. It’s amazing how much more quickly things cook in the KBQ."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

Enjoying these tasty little hamburger looking treats.

Took the dog out for some frisbee time. Three poops with only two bags, that’s the thanks I get.
Love you bro! -
Enjoying the fact that Norte Dame football lost in the Fiesta Bowl.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Riding back from Breckenridge to Denver. Probably with a torn ligament in my right knee. Hoping all of you are having a better first day of 2021.

Thanks @lousubcap. Yeah, it was day 7 of skiing this week. We had a good week. Skied all day for 6 days - 5 of them with the whole family before our eldest offspring took off for a weekend with a friend in DC. Had fresh snow every day. Just got surprised by the depth of the crater between two moguls on my first real run (after 2 easy warm-up runs) of the day.
As snow skiing has always been WAY secondary to water skiing for me, I do have some consternation about how this is going to impact my ability to enjoy water sports going forward.
