Picked up hay with my 16yo nephew from 8pm till 2am.  Definitely some gas money heading his way.
I had my 16 year old cleaning these when he had a free day on Monday. I can't say he enjoyed the experience, but he did like the cash at the end of the day.

Those are to pick up railcars, trains, whatever they're called there, I presume the high lift is to remove the battery.

They are locomotive lifting jacks. 35 t each in a set of 4, 140 t lift. I sold this set in 2008. The customer stores them outside for a while, then shipped them without properly securing them so they got damaged and then left them outside again. Now they are needed again, they are back with us to repair / recommission. The cost is entirely due to negligence, but I'll take their money to fix their mess.

And subcontract it to a 16 year old? No complaints, 16 year olds need a paying job and at least he’s getting paid.

Yep on the legos, anything you want to make within the constraints of material properties working for the end use and it needs to fit in the work area of the printer.  There are some other limitations like long horizontal surfaces without supporting structure will need some temporary supporting structure added to the model you print, then remove them.

Just the cleaning part. He said he wanted some money and had a free day, which he would have only spent playing X Box after getting out of bed at mid-day. He was in the shop at 8 am for this.

Pretending that I keep this thing sanitary. It's either feeding a softball team or sitting in the bed of the truck. I figured I'd better deep clean it before we all need tetanus shots. (I do clean off the griddle top and grease catch after each use but man does this thing still get greasy)

Learned something new today that was pretty interesting. Honey badgers have an eversible anus, comb jellyfish have a transient anus and hyenas are referred to as anal diggers. I got to start watching the Discovery Channel more often 👍

I actually played a concert under the Eiffel, 1978!  I was amazed at what a rusty piece of junk it is, up close.
