Waiting for a little drag to get done.  Took this just for @SGH .

Is that your tractors brother Ozzie?
Unfortunately, they are not.  These belong to a local arena that puts on ropings and barrel races.  Some day I hope to have a nice tractor.  The Ground Hog Arena drags and Blackwidow Groomers are some might fine pieces of equipment too, gives me something to dream about.

Do you travel for work?  I have an entertainment center I am trying to get modified.  I have been quoted between 1500 and 3000 for the modifications.  I am thinking I may just have a new one made.

The Sandhill Cranes are migrating back north. It’s officially Spring. We’re lucky enough to have a wetland area right down the road where they make pit stops. I need to get the spotting scope down there and get some pics.

I hate hiring people.  Wife hired a designer to redesign the house interior.  So far everything she has picked out has not worked and we ended up picking our own furniture.  Latest fiasco is  lights and fans.  Thankfully I was the one doing the install becaue the fans do not have the correct down rods, the colors on the various light fixtures do not match and basically it all is a major down grade.  Very unhappy at the moment, but at least I didn't line up an electrician.  First world problems to be sure, but still aggravating.

Yes, I must be.  Other people seem to have no problem hiring people.  I generally come out unhappy and redo everything myself.

Perhaps you’re hiring the wrong people. For a relatively nominal fee, we hired someone to help us pick our paint colours throughout our “new” home. My wife originally had doubts. I convinced her to work through them and we are beyond happy with the results. Had some great suggestions for us that really came to life upon execution.

You need to form a separate corporation, have your kids run it, have your wife hire that company and they pay you as a consultant.  I think you can avoid taxes this way too and you can give your kids bigly titles.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Mine keeps sending me letters wanting to upgrade my internet to fiber for $45 a month. I want them to give me a combined internet/ cable rate. Especially since they ran a fiber line across my property without a right of way easement in the confusion right after Katrina.

Drove up and down Ogden Canyon with the top down and no jacket.  Everyone is out with their dogs, motorcycles, etc.  I think Spring Fever is going to be especially strong after the COVIDWinter.

While in my late teens early 20’s a friend of mine had a Mazda RX-7. His girlfriend ran it hot one day and the factory rotary motor was toast. We pulled it out and installed a Chevy 350 motor and trans. Boy the fun we had with that thing. Looking back now it was a complete POS but back then we thought we really had something. We did win several races “red light to red light” and the little car did ok until my buddy decided to install NOS. It didn’t last long after that. Good times for sure.
