Getting ready to evacuate. The latest forecast centers my town. Still a catagory one but up to 18 inches of rain and 7 to 11 feet of storm surge.
Stay safe, ain’t looking too pretty. Supposed to stall out on top of y’all.

Wouldn't be suprised if this LF's east a bit but do think it will be almost a Cat 3 by then. Latest recon has her slowing down but intensifying a bit more than was thought initially. Be safe sir.

My worst fear - evacuating in the middle of this pandemic. Stay safe and hope you can get back home quickly.

  • Just East of Biloxi, across the bay. My house is at 25 feet elevation so it should be fine from surge. Now if my neighbor's pine tree will just stay in their yard. Leaving in 15 minutes. Going to my parents, we're all Covid free at the moment.

Been entertained since early this morning by this: water oak / vs. tree service

    Getting closer to the finish

This tree has roots that grew all the way to our house, front and back. Dealt with a lot of the roots when we first put up a deck.

im getting closer with the meds, had talked to the new doctor about cutting them in half a few months ago and about my realistic goals verse ideal blood pressure. i might be cutting them into quarts this fall sometime. was 185/107 a year ago, had it down to ideal numbers but aiming more towards 130/80 as something more realistic

  • I'm being facetious about the blood pressure. Definitely take that seriously and it sounds like you're on the right track. I just really like my gin.

Yes sir @fishlessman. The older I get, the closer to the ground my feet belong. Falling off a short ladder and heading to the emergency room reinforced that for me recently. Slow learner!

This stump will be gone tomorrow.

  • Thanks, I am 95 miles away and out of the severe path, the Egg is in the detached garage. As to the house, it all depends on the neighbors trees.
