Anne got a couple of pieces of pork cheap at the supermarket. One piece of shoulder and one shoulder roast with stuffing. The shoulder was coated with mustard, S&P and then chilli jam, on at 275F for about 7 hours. The shoulder roast joined the first piece for the last 3 hours, then the temp was bumped up to crackle the skin while the other piece finished off wrapped in foil in a low oven. Home made coleslaw and home made sourdough bread.

My Beautiful Wife commented them again tonight.
That has been one of the nicest gifts we have received for kitchen and serving.
Thank you again.

Finally got a chance to cook the t-bones I picked up Friday. Also did some pizza and sausage and cheese pastelitos but I grilled them raised direct instead of fried for the kids dinner and once that was done a turkey meatloaf for lunch for the week.

We loved playing a small dive over in Morgan, UT, just a fun crowd. They had to slide the pool table into the corner for us to set up, but it didn't seem to bother anyone. One night an older lady stripped from the waist, up, and got on a circular table built around one of the building's support beams, and danced up a storm. Unfortunately she snagged her forehead on a protruding nail, fell, and was bleeding all over the place. We took a break while they took care of her, the bass player went to the bar to get a drink, and while there he mentioned to a younger guy, "Hope she's okay, she was having some fun!" Slightly-embarrassed guy said, "Yeah. That's my mom".
Gotta love small-town crowds!

This is not a pretty cook by any means but it was mighty tasty with the hot sauce I made Saturday . I felt adventurous this afternoon so I cooked a few chicken thighs to be shredded for burritos.

Made my refried beans (from last nights left overs), cooked the rice.

Put everything together and back on the grill to get happy. I was famished when it was all ready and didn't get but a half eaten pic of the finished product which I'll spare you.
The best things in life are not things.

@Eoin.. Good luck on Saturday. I think this is the strongest English rugby team I have seen in a long time. I think its going to be won or lost up front. Lets hope we see a great game... Go Springboks !!!!Greensboro North Carolina
When in doubt Accelerate.... -
We hate to be optimistic over here, but we are playing well and have several players with star quality. The NZ game was as complete a performance as I've seen from England, not just grinding out a win, but winning with style.johnmitchell said:@Eoin.. Good luck on Saturday.
