Excited to try this. I'm thinking wings

I enjoy semi hot peppers, habanero is my heat limit just eating with a meal.   I had some of that I added to a batch of chili.  I couldn't eat it and I didn't add much.

Starting roasting coffee beans at home. Fringe benefit of the air popper = hot popcorn + ghee + DP Pineapple Head. Pretty good snack.

The wife and I both have meetings this evening.  I thought I'd cook something quick and easy to clean up before we had to run out the door .  I used this for the marinade except for the limes.
    1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons low sodium tamari sauce
    2 tablespoons chili garlic sauce
2 tablespoons rice vinegar (apple cider vinegar may also be used)
    3 tablespoons honey
1 lime (juiced, approx. 2 tablespoons)
3/4 teaspoon sweet paprika (smoked Spanish)
    1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1 pineapple (small, cut into approx. 1 inch cubes)
Thanks to a few pro tips from @Foghorn it turned out to be eatable.

@bucky925, that looks awesome.  Well played.

Just dropped Tim off at the station. He's doing a tour of the West for the next 2 weeks, flies into Denver tomorrow.

Starting in Mile High city (more ways than one...), he may not leave.  Great experiences await.  Us Yanks need to get overseas more.
Here's my benchmark story of inspirational travelers: (England citizens).
Met them in a hotel lobby in mid-town NYC.  First visit to the States.  I caught up with them on the finial leg of the adventure.
For the gentleman's 66th B'day they decided to fly to Chicago, rent a car and drive Route 66 to Santa Monica.  (Driven by watching that TV show many decades ago.)  Fortunately they rented a Jeep vs vette as much of the remaining portions of the road were in rough shape.  Spent 3+ weeks on the road-trip.  Finish-fly to NYC, visit friends on Long Island for a few days then back to the UK.  That is how you get it done.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Hope he has a safe, fun, and memorable trip! Did he have any "must see" things/places on his itinerary?

About to lose my cool with the old band system on my large.  It's had an underbite for about a year.  Fixed that 4 cooks ago.  Got it lit to cook last night and went to close once chicken was on and NO.  Stuck open.  Loosened some bolts to get it closed but at this point its an INFERNO.  Leaned over to check hinge and singed my hair on top vent.  Underbite back and worse than before.  Think I'm just going to throw in the towel and get the new bands at ACE.

I gave up on my original bands a couple of months ago and got a new set.  First few cooks it was fantastic. Now I have some smoke leaking from the rear. And yes, I know I tightened those bolts down.  I guess I have to loosen the top ones and push down the dome. Kinda hate to do it because these bolts bent pretty good, but I guess it has to be done.  I have to get a spare set and have them nearby “just in case”.
